Since the Momz has slacked off on sharing my tips for Living Life to the Fullest, I’m taking over! Can you believe I’m back in the new year, and I’m ready to share some more of my special life tips? I’ve decided to keep giving this cancer thing a run for its money, so I’ll be sticking around for as long as I can.
As long as I’m still here, I, Her Highness Queen Sheba, am going to share things I do to live life to the fullest. I’m hanging around as long as I can have some fun, even though I know my days in this world are winding down. I’m determined to make the most of them, and to bring a smile to my Momz and Dadz faces every day!
TIP #12: Snuggle!
One way to live to the fullest is to do something different or unexpected from time to time. Last week I climbed right up on the couch next to the Momz, and put my head on her lap! You see, I’m not really much of a snuggler; most of the time I prefer to stretch out as far as possible and enjoy my own space when I’m relaxing.
Occasionally you have to change things up, especially when it can make someone very happy. I think the Momz was just about crying when I did this, even though she was smiling too!
I must add – don’t wait too long to take your chance. My bratty little brother Luke is the real snuggler in the household and most of the time he’s right there with Momz, so I had to take the opening while I had it. He was lying in the chair – I don’t know why – and of course, after I snuggled with Momz for a bit, he couldn’t stand it and had to squeeze his way in on her other side on the couch.
He’s a Momz hog, and a jealous brat, but Momz and I got to enjoy some time, just us, for a bit before he pushed his way in. I’m not a fighter, so I let the little brat the sweet boy have his way; but I still stayed close to Momz.
So that’s my tip – do some unexpected snuggling with your loved ones and put a smile on their face. I suppose it doesn’t hurt to be nice to your bratty siblings either, since peace seems to be so important to the humans in the household (see Momz’ recent post here to see what I mean).

LOve,Love,LOve 🙂
Snuggle time is the best!! Have a wonderful weekend.
Sheba, that’s another valuable tip. I’m glad you seized the opportunity to give your mom the joy of an unexpected snuggle. I bet she’ll remember it forever.
She knew exactly what she was doing. ♥
That’s a great tip – everyone loves to snuggle!
This is a great tip, Sheba. And we hope you get lots of snuggles.
Ooh yes, excellent tip! Missy loves, loves, loves to snuggle. Buzz has his snuggle moments too, usually at night, but is more independent throughout the day. So good to hear that Sheba is fighting the nasty C.
I love that tip sweet Sheba and I do love to snuggle!
Pierre is my snuggle buddy but I cherish the time I snuggle with Bentley every morning.
We are all huge snugglers here, so that is nothing new for us. Maybe if Bailie would behave for a day, that would be unexpected. Hard to believe a 5 month old puppy is better behaved than a 3 yr old! Oh well, she is happy as she is.
Sheba you are one smart pup! Snuggling is an art that makes everybody happy and you have perfected it to the fullest. We love how you live your life and think of you every day. 🙂
That’s right baby! You fight that cancer monster!

Aww … that’s a beautiful picture, Sheba. You’re a sweetheart!
Oh, Sheba, you almost made ME cry! Your guardian angel, Callie, was my Snuggler-in-Chief; and I miss her snuggles so very much! And I miss seeing her snuggle with Shadow, too. (Insert time out to wipe away tears.) You keep up giving your Momz those unexpected snuggles dear girl. And keep on enjoying every. single. moment you have, sweetie! I’m pulling for you to kick that cancer in the butt, right out the door. ❤❤❤❤
Sheba, you are one amazingly philosophical pup! Lots of lap time with mom sounds like pawfect advice. Well done, girl.
Excellent tip! I am no snuggler except in the wee hours of the morning. Ma will scoop me up, put me on the big bed and snuggle me. I stay snuggled up with her and we fall back to sleep together. They are precious moments as during the day, I want my own space and spots to relax.
Sheba you are one brilliant and philosophic woofie!! xoxo
what a cute idea you had… and I bet that was a wonderful moment for your mom :o) I’ve tried un-eggspected things today too…I opened the dish washer (accidentally)… the mama was puzzled that I know how to push the button… hehehe we dogs know how to push every button, right?
