Just before Christmas I shared a photo of the K9 Crew sharing the couch. I pondered whether all that togetherness might just be a show they were putting on because Santa was coming. At the end of the post I commented: “Letβs hope they keep up this good cheer and nice sharing right into the new year!”
I am happy to report that even though they haven’t all shared the couch again, there has still been some sweet sharing going on!
The chair Luke and Cricket are sharing in the above photo is the next best spot after the couch, and the beds behind that furniture are also very popular. In fact, Cricket and Sheba had both been coveting that double layer bed in the foreground of the below photo when the other was in it. I brought out a similar bed but was very surprised to see them both sharing the newer one!
This is not to say there haven’t still been some sibling squabbles. They are a competitive group and disagreements can break out over treats, balls, and even the parents. Therefore, we are sure to enjoy every peaceful moment we get for as long as it lasts!
Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday blog hop.
It’s amazing how there’s a truce whenever it’s time to snuggle or cuddle. They look so sweet together.
“They are a competitive group and disagreements can break out over treats, balls, and even the parents.” That describes Ducky to a tee!! Only she takes “competitive” to a wholly different level, all the way to possessiveness.
Thankfully, out in the yard she is happy to just control possession of her toy and let Shadow have my attention.
I love pictures where your crew – and my own – are actually sharing furniture or dog beds! They look so sweet!
Luke is the one that is more possessive of the humans, and Cricket is more possessive of the balls. I sometimes think she loves balls more than she loves us! LOL
It’s pretty common for all three of us to be on the couch at the same time, much to the Lady’s discomfort, but no touching! Love Dolly
Cricket seems like she’s the equal opportunity snuggler … or maybe she’s just the most popular π
I love when the boys share a couch. They don’t snuggle except when we travel and they are both in their kennel. Then, they use each other as pillows. LOL!
That must be so cute!!
It’s great to see them snuggling up, even if 2 by 2.
Isn’t it funny about both Sheba and Cricket wanting the new bed. I guess the new bed was more desirable than their older favorite.
It must have been the newness, but it didn’t take long for that to wear down. I added another bed on top of the new bed and I think now that is the new favorite again! They seem to like the double decker effect. π
That is so sweet. I love to see sibling dogs sharing beds!
I know the feeling! Right now, everyone is still so I’m not moving off the couch even though I’d like a refill on my water! I know the second I move, the peace will be over π I’m happy to see such sweet pictures of your crew!
I hope to see similar sweet photos of Barley and Rye sometime!
So cute. It’s nice when everybody gets along. π
So sweet!
Great job keeping the love flowing in the New Year.
Glad to see the good cheer and sharing continuing!
We have found that sharing often comes easier when you need to steal warmth on cold winter’s nights!!! π
Now that’s a good point! I can definitely see where that might be our beagle Cricket’s motivation – she’s definitely a heat seeker!
Cute. We don’t share to often here

Awe sharing is caring. Lovely photos.
We love the sweet togetherness moments!
They all look so innocent.
Yes, but only when they’re sleeping. LOL.
My pups share everything and snuggle together all the time. But, they fight and argue just as much as they share. Peace is often hard to come by in our house, too.
They are just like human siblings, aren’t they? π
Well at least the other bed is handy as a chin rest! LOL The gang looks great. π
I had to make the new bed into a double decker too, and right now Cricket is in one bed with her head on the other!
I agree… every peaceful moment is precious… that’s what my aunt said too… she raised 3 girls… and that was like having 3 lions LOL
Madison is always trying to snuggle up to Bailie, but so far Bailie hasn’t caved in too much to the requests. We think in time she will.
As close as those two are, I’m sure that will come in time. Maybe when Madison settles down some – or is it Bailie that needs to settle down more yet? π
