And while you’re at it, don’t forget to visit the other blogs and share their animals that need forever homes on your social media sites. Please spread the word!”
Good news first – Brixton, the Pit Bull puppy I featured on 10/29, has been adopted!!
*UPDATE – MOE & HIS BROTHER LARRY HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED – TOGETHER!
Today I am going to feature a cat named Moe. I chose Moe because he reminds me a lot of a cat we used to have, Don Juan. Donny was a special cat who was with us from the time he was born until we lost him to cancer at age 14. He was special guy who loved everyone and holds a special place in my heart.

Details on Moe:
- Domestic Short Hair
- Adult, 3 years old
- Medium size
- House-trained
- Neutered
- Up to date on shots, vet checked
Moe was surrendered to the Sullivan County Humane Society shelter in Claremont, NH, along with his brother Larry. Their human parents had gotten a divorce. Really? Neither one of them could take the cats? That just really makes me sad and angry!

And here is Moe’s brother, Larry! You can visit his Petfinder page here

.More about Sullivan County Humane Society, from their website: They are a “grass roots organization dedicated to reducing the population of unwanted and abandoned animals through humane spay/neuter practices; finding “Forever Homes” for stray, abused and unwanted animals; cultivating alliances with other local community organizations and individuals interested in the protection of animals; educating the general public about animal cruelty and its prevention.”
They provide a safe haven and care for animals in transition and awaiting adoption. They presently only house cats and kittens in their shelter, but their goal is to assist all companion animals as funds become available. They are a no-kill shelter, established only within the last few years.
Please share Moe if you can, and visit the other participants in the hop and share their posts also. Sharing can get these animals seen by just the right person, and ultimately lead to them finding their forever happy homes!
Poor kitties. I hope they find a good home.
Thank you…I hope so too!
So cute! I hope Larry and Moe find a home very soon!
I hope so too! I wonder if there was every a Curly? 🙂
Yay for Brixton! Hope Larry and Moe find a home soon. It sucks that one of them didn’t take them when they divorced. How mean:( Sharing.
I know, I just can’t understand people that would do that!! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, it’s really sad that nobody wanted to take the babies with them when they got divorced! Poor babies!!
I really hope they find a very loving home. All fur babies deserve that.
I hope so too….they do deserve it. If my hubby and I were ever to divorce, not that that will happen, but we’d be fighting over who got the animals…no way would they end up at a shelter!
What a beautiful looking pair 🙂 Sorry to hear about your kitty. xxoxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Awww…thank you, Mollie & Alfie!!
Aww, what a sweet face! I wish we could have cats, but we can’t. I hope somebody takes them both home soon!
I hope the two of them can find a home together!
They are both quite hansome and we will share too!
Thank you, Brian!
Congratulations to Brixton! And good luck to sweet kitty Moe. He looks like a pretty cool mancat 🙂
And Larry too! =X
It would be nice if someone adopted the two of them together!
Good looking kitties, but I have my paws full with two! I bet Moe will find a home real soon with that handsome face.
I think he will too. I know, I’d consider them myself, but I think two cats is also our limit!
Great pics and i hope they all find a good home!
Thank you, Jim! I hope so too!
