When I recently posted a picture of Luke on his back with all his paws up in the air, our friend Raven commented “Luke is playing upside down Twister with himself!” I couldn’t help but think of that comment when I saw these photos:
Obviously, both Luke and Cricket spun the “blue dot”!

I haven’t played this game since I was a kid, and I wondered if it was still around. Sure enough, it is, and you can even order the classic version through amazon.com (affiliate link below)!
Does anyone still play this game (other than my dogs, that is)?

LOL I loved that game. I bet it would be fun to play with doggies.
I used to love playing Twister! They sure look like they’re having a good time. 🙂
Now that’s a game we wouldn’t want to see the mom play. Her all twisted up? Nope. 😉
I haven’t played Twister in years and years. Luke’s version looks fun.
Honey likes to play twister. But I think her rolling around in the fields visited by local stray dogs led to a little tapeworm trouble.
Yuck.
I’m wishing she’d take up chess for a while instead. 🙂
Oh no! Our girls play that version as well, but luckily they keep it confined to our yard!
My human mommy plays Twister almost every evening in the kitchen when my puppy sister and I decide to sleep in there while she’s trying to prepare dinner. She always says that one day she’s going to break a hip. 😉
Ha ha, I’ve said the same thing many times! I’m trying to train the dogs to stay out of the kitchen so I don’t hurt myself. It works, some of the time. 🙂
Wow, Twister is still around! I thought it was long gone. I used to love that silly game when I was in my tweens! I even played it by myself at times if none of my friends were around. Mom would spin the arrow and laugh as I tried to twist myself into a pretzel. 🙂
Too funny! I know, I thought the game was long gone. I was surprised to see they even had a newer version of it. I wonder if kids these days play it?
OMD! I haven’t played Twister since I could actually twist my body! Hahahaha!
LOL! The good old days…right, Melissa?
probably most of the readers of your blog are way too young to even know about that game! BOL!
DakotasDen
Darn it, did I just age myself? BOL
Lets play lets play!

Omg, I remember that game! I used to love playing it!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
What fun! Way to stay agile.
Ohhhh! We love a good game of Twister! 🙂
they are much better twister players than humans :o) my grampy dislocated his shoulder once as he played with us grand kids… and he told the ER staff he had an accident on the stairs, because he feared scorn and derision :o)
Yikes! We don’t blame him for making up a story though!
I love that Sheba is moderating the game of “twister” or is it wrestling? HA! So cute!
They definitely have their own version of how to play the game! 🙂
Mom has lots of fond memories of that game and around here we hear references to it now and then as well. Keep on twisting, pups!
