The theme for this week’s #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge is “Play”. I did some photo editing so we could also include this photo in the Black and White Sunday blog hop.
I had other ideas for this theme, but one evening this last week Luke and Sheba got playful and decided to fight over this Zisc. I love how Sheba acts just like a puppy when she and Luke get playing. He really keeps her young. I posted some other photos from this series on social media over the last few days so you might have seen others like it.
Happy Black and White Sunday!
We are joining both the B&W Sunday hop and the #52Snapshots hop.

They’re such puppies at heart when they play. Well, we are too I guess 🙂
One question – who won the frisbee tug of war
Sheba almost always wins! I think Luke respects his elders, and gives into her sometimes. 🙂
Looks like you pups are having loads of fun!!!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
That is a fabulous photo.
It’s always so fun when they play together! We had Paisley overnight and she and Pierre play Frisbee tog o war! It was great. I love the hints of color peeking through you pic!
They’re having a good time at their play! I love those colorized b&w’s.
What a great pic!
Definitely a pro of having multiples! I think Mr. N enjoys being the “only child” most of the time though.
Of course we hope Sheba wins the game of tug-of-war, but we’re partial to Goldens here.
Sheba almost always wins!!
That’s just one of the perks of having more than one dog; they help each other in various ways. Jasper has challenged Sophie to become the alpha girl she always was but never had to use. He knows when Sophie gets Beyonce fierce, he better listen! Sophie has taught Jasper the rules of the house and how to play with others (he’s still learning that one). I love having two dogs; want more and maybe one day, when Jasper is more settled. Sheba and Luke are beautiful and look like they play very nicely together.
They really do play very well together. Sheba doesn’t like to give in, and I think Luke respects that. She definitely puts him in his place.
I am always trying to figure out what the right number of dogs might be…I think I need to write a post on the subject! I thought 4 was too many, but then again odd numbers can be difficult in their own way too. It seems like someone is always left out of the play (usually Cricket because she’s smaller). When Luke was small, Sheba was the one left out because he and Cricket always played together when he was her size.!
Looks like they are having a good play session!
Love the black and white effect! Did you use photoshop or some other photo editing app?
Meanwhile I’m looking for the Multiple Pet Mania month calendar but can’t find it. What is the theme for this coming week? I couldn’t tweak my training post to where I was happy with it, so maybe this week will be a bit easier.
I used the online app PicMonkey.com to do the black and white effect. I haven’t figured out how to do it on photoshop yet!
This week’s theme is “housecleaning and grooming”. Here’s the link to the post that includes the calendar (it’s at the end of the post): http://www.afarmgirlsfinds.com/multiple-pet-mania-kickoff-multipetmania/
Oh, I just love a good game of tug! Happy Sunday
FUN and one benefit of having multi-dogs. Have a great Sunday. Golden Woofs
Sugar, there’s a lot to be said for having multiple pets, but my life was way easier when I only had one. And somewhat less stressful, too. Still, I don’t know if I want to ever go back to easy. 🙂
I can’t imagine going back to only one dog, though it’s definitely easier and less stressful. I do think about two sometimes. I said it in another comment, that I just can’t figure out what the right number might be!
Great photo! Love the green!
What a fun photo! I love the pop of color 🙂
That is a great photo, its so fun to see two dogs play together like that. Its good that Luke is keeping Sheba active too. Love Dolly
So cute. Looks like a fun time.
Great photo, love the color splash, a little game of tug anyone?
Looks like they are having a great time! Happy Sunday
wonderful and joyous photo!
Katie and Bailie played tug a war until last fall. Now Katie doesn’t want to play really at all. Your two sure seem to be having fun!
I dread the day when Sheba won’t want to (or be able to) play any more, but I know it will come. I hope that doesn’t mean we have to get another dog to play with Luke!
