Last fall we got to try out out an SUV cargo liner from 4Knines Pet Products. It’s been a lifesaver for me as far as keeping the back of my SUV clean, especially where I’ve been taking the dogs swimming a lot more this summer. Our girls aren’t big on riding, but Luke sure is. He took over our late beagle Kobi’s job of going to the dump with Dad, and running other short errands when the weather is appropriate. My hubby recently bought a new pickup truck and trying to keep it clean of Luke’s fur quickly became an issue.
I immediately thought of 4Knines and the other seat covers that they offered…both front and rear. Luke prefers to ride in the front seat but we know that is a safety issue so we wanted to stop that practice. 4Knines has the perfect cover, a rear seat cover for large SUVS and trucks (hubby’s truck is BIG), with a hammock option. This cover can be installed as a hammock, or as a traditional seat cover (4Knines does also offer a fitted seat cover as well).

This XL rear seat cover fits the truck perfectly. It is very easy to install, but if you have any trouble or questions you can just visit 4Knines website and watch their installation video. Still have questions? They will happily answer your phone call or email and help you in whatever way you need.

4Knines is a small family owned and operated company. Owners Jim and Maggie have dogs of their own, and their products were designed with Ares and Ana in mind. Their products come with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and shipping is free! For every seat cover they sell they donate $1 to the ASPCA, and they give back to animal causes in other ways as well.
This seat cover has non-slip backing, and it comes with seat anchors to help keep it in place. It is heavy duty, weatherproof and easy to clean. You can throw it right in your washing machine, but I think it’s just as easy to throw it over something and hose it off, as Jim demonstrates in one of their informative videos on the website.

I love the hammock option because it helps keep Luke in the back seat where we want him. The hammock is not meant to hold weight but it provides a barrier, and extra security in case of sudden stops. But our Luke is a leaper, and he can get over it. So another great thing about this cover is that there are velcro openings that you can put the seat belts through. We can use Luke’s harness that attaches to the seat belt to keep him in back. He’s still getting used to this new set-up but I think he’s going to be fine with it in time.

Both my guys are good riders and I’m so grateful for that. Delilah can be a little possessive of the vehicle and we have to watch her when we stop somewhere, but she’s getting better.
The first time Sampson rode with us (when we brought him home) he through up in the carrier and I thought, “OH NO, I hope he’s not motion shcik!” I think it was the carrier we had put him in because he’s only thrown up in the car that one time and a short time after that when he had gastritis.
Obviously that should read sick.
Yes, my doggies like car rides. Thanks! 🙂
Shunta goes places with me in the car. She older now and the Bronco is tough to get in so unless it’s an emergency and snowing we take the car.
We LOVE 4KNines and would certainly love to win a back seat cover for our car! Thanks for this opportunity!
My dog adores riding in the car, with his head hanging out the window!
The cargo liner looks so nice. I’m currently looking for one that covers the entire back of an SUV with the seats laying down. Most of the liners are hammock styles and are too short when I lay them flat so I currently have 2 covering the back and since they’re not attached to the sets, they slide around everywhere.
I’m having cargo liner envy right now.
LOL! I love the cargo liner. It fits in my SUV perfectly (I have a Toyota Rav 4), covering everything. It can also go in hammock style (or just flat) so that it helps keep the dogs in the back with the seats down. Even hammock style it covers the whole back. When you install it flat, it attaches to the headrests on the seats that are down so that helps keep it in place. They can still get over it when it’s hammock style, but I think Luke is getting more used to staying in the back in the truck, because I took him in my Rav today and he didn’t even try to jump up front.
I never thought of attaching to the heads of the seats that are lying down. Of course, I have to remove the heads, but I’m sure I can fabricate something. I’ll have to give it some thought. Thanks!
Yes, all my dogs are expert travelers, and ride really well.
You are so lucky! I wish the girls liked riding more. Good luck in the giveaway!
My dogs ride in the car, this would be perfect!
LOves riding in the car, specially with the window cracked a little bit. 😀
They’ve gotta have that fresh air! Our beagle Kobi used to love to put his nose right up to the vents in the front seat, and snorted away…LOL.
My dogs love to ride in a vehicle
Our dogs love love love riding in the car but they somehow know when it’s time to go to the vet and then they hate riding in the car.
I wonder if we humans give off some kind of “vet vibes” that gives it away? LOL
What a fantastic product! I’ve been looking into a car seat cover for awhile now, they look great! I’ve actually considered making a DIY one. But for now, an old towel will have to do 🙂
We used to use old bed comforters or quilts! 🙂
This would be so great for helping to keep the car clean 🙂 My dogs love riding in the car. They love heading to the dog park, pet store and down to the river for a dip.
Yes she loves all forms of transport BOL
Two of my four dogs really like going in the car. My senior girl used to, but her health is making it hard for her to get comfortable. I lost my sweet, deaf hound girl, Ran, back in April. She was the best shotgun rider I’ve ever had and just LOVED riding with me.
I am so sorry for your loss of Ran. Our beagle Kobi who I mentioned also just loved riding so much…he wanted to go everywhere with us. Something about hound dogs and riding, maybe? Luke also has some hound dog in him!
Good luck in the giveaway!
all 3 girls love to ride, but they like to look out the window, i have doggy nose prints everywhere, the youngest likes to ride on the console, they all have seatbelts, the oldest would prefer to ride without the other 2 gals. the baby, now 5 used to get car sick but does not anymore.
Our very first dog got carsick when she was young, but luckily got over it too. And our beagle Kobi also loved to ride on the console! I’m not sure what a clear window looks like anymore…LOL. Good luck!
My dog, Señor Mike the Senior Dog, love to ride in the car. I think this design which is soft material would be good for him.
Señor Mike, I love it! Yes, the material on this cover is very comfortable for the dogs, not hard like many covers. Good luck in the giveaway!
I’ve had a hammock-style seat cover in my car for several years now. I love it!!
We LOVE our Kurgo cargo cape. They make such an awesome product!
My dogs both enjoy riding in the car- until we get to the street our vet is on!
Sometimes they’re too smart for their own good, aren’t they? 🙂 Good luck in the giveaway!
Those look like great covers. I think it is wonderful they have covers out these days. When I had a car that needed a cover, they did not make them. Of course now I have crates and there are so many good options.
Yes! He loves it! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
Erin
You’re welcome, and good luck!!
We like it and need it!!
Lily & Edward
We love our cargo liner and the hammock. It keeps our car nice and tidy!
Oh these sound fantastic!!! Good luck to all the U.S peeps!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Wow these are great! We sure could use one for Daisy – she loves to go for rides and I like taking her to parks and wooded areas for walks, so she always rides home with muddy or dirty paws. We’re definitely entering this giveaway! 🙂
Good luck! I know this would definitely make your life easier!
I love it! it’s much better than our hard and stiff cover, I think they can hold the balance much better on a soft ground (specially when I’m the one on the wheel lol)
