We don’t travel a lot with our dogs, but when we do take them places, it’s usually dirty, wet, and messy. In the summer we take them swimming, in the winter we take them snowshoeing, spring is mud season here in New England, and we walk on dirt trails year round.
We love our SUV for traveling with the dogs. We put the back seat down and they have plenty of room to lie down. Our vehicle has a nice rubber mat in the way back, but the backs of the seats are carpeted, and the dogs usually want to lie down there right behind us, they don’t stay on the rubber mat (it can’t be comfortable). So when we get home we have a car filled with dirt and dog fur.
When we got the opportunity to try out a 4Knines SUV Cargo Liner, I was excited! 4Knines was started by Jim and Maggie, a husband and wife team who had their two “rough and tumble Dobermans in mind.” They focus on delivering high quality products and excellent customer service. All of their products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed! Their motto is “Nothing but the best for your best friend!” 4Knines donates $1 to the ASPCA for every unit sold, and they also support many other pet advocacy groups. .
This cargo cover delivers the high quality they promise. It is made of durable waterproof material, and quilted for comfort. It is easy to install – I usually have my hubby do things like that because I have no patience with figuring them out – but I installed this easily on my own in no time. The liner has side flaps and a bumper protector, to give complete coverage and protection from scratches on the bumper. I also like how you can install it two different ways – either attached to the front seats to provide a barrier between the seats, or completely flat. The headrest straps are reinforced, and the backing is non-slip.

I am a gardener as well and this cover can be used to protect my vehicle when transporting plants, bales of straw, and other gardening products. It has a lifetime warranty.
It’s Christmas shopping time and 4Knines is having a Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale! All products will be 20% off through their own website and Amazon as well.

I have 2 hair dogs and it really looks comfy for them. I also have 2 cats that shed a lot too.
With that many pets the fur is just everywhere, car and home, right? We have 5 so I know. Thanks for coming by and entering!
With two long haired dogs, my car gets pretty furry!
I bet it does!
No more backseat dog hair? Woohoo!
You could actually have unexpected passengers and not have to warn them about the dog hair! LOL
How lovely! We have a hammock-style seat-cover for the back seat, but I’ve been thinking of switching to just flipping the seats down for more room. This looks great!
We sometimes had issues with the dogs falling off the back seat onto the floor. They seem so much more stable with the seat down.
I would love to win this because muddy prints could be a thing of the past after trips to the dog park. We use towels but they don’t exactly stay put well.
Yes, we tried towels in the past too. Not so great! 🙂
I would love to win this! 🙂
Good luck!!
I would love to win this to keep my dog’s hair from getting all over the trunk/cargo area when we travel! 🙂
It’s a life saver, trust me. My hubby was cleaning my car yesterday and complaining about all the fur (from before we got the cover), it’s so hard to get off the carpets and fabric seats!
I would like to win this because my dog goes everywhere I go, and I just got a new Camaro and I would love to protect the seats and try to keep as much of her hair off of them as possible. No matter what though, she will always go everywhere momma goes
I love a person who will let their dog ride in their brand new sports car with them! My hubby won’t let the dogs in his Mustang. 🙁
I would love to win this for traveling to disc dog competitions.
That sounds like so much fun! Good luck!
I would love to have one of these to help keep my car clean. With three dogs, the dog hair, mud and dirt seem to pile up!
They sure do, don’t they? Good luck!
It looks so cute and comfy. My puppy would love this.
It really just makes the back of the car so much more inviting and comfortable!
This looks soo awesome!! My pups with their short hair would love something cozy for the back of our Rav!
You have a Rav too? I love mine. I only wished I had gotten leather interior….but with this cover I don’t need to worry about that (and there are front seat covers available too).
I have all senior dogs, so this would help keep my car clean in the case of a little accident. Thanks!
We love the seniors! I wish I’d had this back in the day when I had dogs that got car sick. Good luck!
I’d love to win this item so I can donate it to an animal rescue group that transports a lot of animals from high kill shelters to fosters and adopters so their personal vehicles are kept as clean as possible while they do some amazing work!
What a wonderful idea! Good luck!
Great idea for dogs in the car, and for gardening supplies! I love how it also creates a barrier to keep the dogs out of the front.
It will save me having to hold them back with my arm when I’m in the passenger seat!
I love pampering my little baby and this would be great for him
Pampering is important! 🙂
That cover looks great…and just what you need!
It really is working out well!
Barley and I have a cover in our car right now, but it wasn’t as durable as I hoped it would be and it now has a big rip in it, so we’re in need of a new one! This sounds great!
This one really looks like it will hold up to a lot, plus it’s guaranteed, so you can’t lose. Good luck!
I really love that. Our dogs ride with the back seat down so they have a big flat area. I currently have two throw rugs laid out but despite having some stuff to hold the rugs in place, they move. I hate hearing the dogs nails scrabbling on the seat. Not because I care about the car (because I don’t) but because I worry they will slip and hurt themselves.
We usually had an old quilt or comforter back there, and those just absorbed the water and had to be washed way too often.
We lease our vehicle, so have to try to keep it a bit cleaner!
Good luck in the giveaway!
Fun to see how you used yours a bit differently. Mom hates folding down our back seats, so we didn’t try that variation. It is a great product!
It really is great, and it’s versatile too…you showed a third way to install it in your post!
Looks like Sheba really likes the new Cargo liner. It looks great. I need to find out if they have one for the back of our Mini!
It comes in at least two different sizes, so I bet they do. Sheba really does like it….she’s not crazy about riding and I think she feels more secure tucked in the corner there.
Oh I was just reading about this on another post today! It sounds like such a great product, and I have had these where they are incredibly hard to install, so I like the sounds of this one!!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
That is definitely my favorite part of it, how easy it is to install. Thanks for coming by, Jenna, even though you couldn’t enter. 🙁
oh I want to win, I got a new hatch back car that needs this!
You definitely need this for your new car! Good luck!
That looks like a great cargo liner. Thanks for the review!
You’re welcome! We really like it. It’s going to make my hubby’s life easier, since he’s usually the one that cleans my car!
Everything sticks to Mr. N’s fur. Mud, burrs, gum etc.
Oh, I know how that is…Sheba is just like that too. It’s a little better after we get her groomed, but only a little!
Great review! We have the seat cover and absolutely love it. Today we had to take Bentley to the vet and so it was his first official ride of any length. I was so impressed with how well it worked. It is the first time that I actually was able to ride in the front seat. BOL! Good luck to everybody that enters. ☺
Thanks! I saw your review of the seat cover and that does look great too! We might get a front seat cover someday, since Luke likes to ride up there when there’s no one in the passenger seat. We have a different brand now but don’t really like it.
