There’s just something about this photo I love. Most of my favorite photos of Sheba are of her smiling or playing. We mostly think of her as our silly girl who often acts like a puppy. I think this photo appeals to me because it shows her more beautiful and serious side. I love the way the breeze is just lifting the fur around her ears.
This was taken on one of the last days that she had to stay up on the deck and watch her siblings play. Now she is back in the yard playing with them and everyone is much happier! She is feeling great right now, and we are going to enjoy that for as long as it lasts.

I agree – it’s a really beautiful picture!
She looks pensive. It’s a lovely portrait of her.
Awwww! This is a great photo! I love the wisps of ear hair flying!
I’m with you. I adore the cheerful snaps of the dogs when I can get them, but the contemplative photos that show them deep in thought just touch my heart in a different way. Here’s hoping you have the opportunity to get many more photos like this of your beautiful pup.

So happy to have some time with beautiful Sheba and the other adorable animals today-all 3 playing and enjoying the outdoors together, was great!
That is a really gorgeous photo of Sheba! I can see why you love it!
What a beauty! Reminds me of my Brandy who passed at 17 and was the love of my life. Miss her every day. Thanks for posting this beautiful photo =)
Thank you for coming by to see it. I hope it gave you a smile and a happy memory. ♥
Her little white face has stolen my heart.
That is a beautiful photo and the wind blowing the fur on her ears is really sweet. I’m glad she’s enjoying playing again. Hugs and loving thoughts to all of you. 🙂

Thank you, and Happy New Year to you too!
Sweet girl!
That is a beautiful photograph of a beautiful girl. ♥ It is difficult to take a picture of a Golden when they aren’t smiling. LOL! I am so glad that she is out playing in the yard again.
Love that. It’s a great shot.
That is a wonderful picture. I am so happy Sheba is back playing!!
Your Golden Girl is a beauty, for sure! She looks like she was wondering when she would be allowed to join in the fun again. So glad that day has come for her! I know she’s happiest when she can play with her siblings, just as my sweet Callie was. Enjoy every moment that you can with her, and take as many photos and videos of her playing and snuggling with Cricket and/or Luke as you can. Get some “selfies” with her, too – just Sheba and you, just Sheba and the hubby, and just Sheba by herself when she doesn’t realize you have the camera. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did. I love this photo of Sheba, too!
Those are great ideas, thank you Sue, especially the photos of both my hubby and I with Sheba. We have so few of those!
This is a really lovely shot. Looks like there is a lot going on inside her head. I am glad she is able to play in the yard again. Happy 2016!
A beautiful photo and I’m so pleased she can join in with the rest of her gang. Wishing her continued good health in 2016. Happy New Year.
