The theme for this week’s #52Snapshots of Life is “Joyful”.
Paws, ears, and tail up….I think it’s safe to say that Luke is “joyful” when playing in the snow!
Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday blog hop!
I’m adding in the code for #52 Snapshots as well, so if you hop over from someone else you can continue hopping from here!
Total joy – fur sure!

Luke is so handsome in his blue coat! We haven’t had any snow this year so far but I’m enjoying seeing the pictures of everyone else’s dog in the snow.
Thank you! We haven’t really had much snow this year, we’ve had a lot more rain and ice which can make for a messy yard. Luckily we’ve got just enough snow right now, but it’s starting to get icy again. ๐
That is definitely one very joyful tail! That snow looks like it had already seen a lot of puppy joy on a very pretty day. ๐
Oh, you noticed how trampled the yard is! It’s definitely been well used! ๐
That is joyful dog body language for sure. Is there any dog that doesn’t love the snow, the beach or both?
So true! We’ve never taken our dogs to the ocean, lakes and rivers only, but I would love to some day. I just know they’d love that too.
I love the tail, up and bright in the sunshine. And the snow getting kicked up behind Luke … go Luke go!
It’s not easy to photograph a partly white dog against the snow either. I think it helped that we were finally getting a sunny day!
I love this picture! It’s perfect!
Thank you so much, Lisa!
Luke looks so jaunty and happy!
He’s definitely having a good time! He’s pretty proud of himself when he can get the ball from his sisters!
Definitely joyful. Does the ball match his coat? ๐
Why, yes it does, as a matter of fact! ๐
Luke looks very joyful.
Thanks, he is a happy boy!
Nailed it! That looks joyful to me!
Thank you, Jackie!
You get some great action shots of the dogs! Luke looks awesome!
Thank you, Ann! It’s much easier to photograph them when they’re on the move, than to try to get them to stay still! LOL
That’s one happy dog. ๐ As far as we’re concerned the dogs can have all the snow! We’ll stay inside where it’s nice and warm.
Samantha and Conrad totally agree with you!
Pawsitively PRANCIN’! *wags* – Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com
He certainly is!
Definitely, I’m with Luke on this one! Love Dolly
You dogs do know how to get the most enjoyment out of life!
He looks so handsome in his blue coat against the snow! Have fun Luke!
Thank you!!
He’s so happy to be out and about running in the snow.
They’re saying we’re going to get rain again though. ๐ We’ll keep our fingers and paws crossed it turns out to be snow instead.
…he sure looks it!!
I think so!
Dogs just love snow! Cole loves to play and jump and eat it. Then he urps it up… too cold. Leeanna at not afraid of color
Surprisingly, the dogs we have now don’t really eat snow much. Which is a good thing, because Sheba can’t eat anything frozen, yup, it comes back up too!
Mia looks like that with her ball in her mouth. Enjoy the snow!
Our dogs think balls are just the best toy in the world!
That does look like such a good time! Enjoy it Luke!
We’ve been able to play a bit more lately, but with more rain coming I’m not sure if the yard will be good for much longer!
๐ woooooowoooooooo!
Woowoo indeed! ๐
Looks fun ๐
It sure was!
It brings me joy too, watching Luke have fun while playing in the snow. Nice picture! ๐
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed it!!
Luke is definitely looking very joyful, great pic!
Thank you!
That is a fabulous photo!!!
แฆ husky hugz แฆ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thank you, Jenna!
Oh yeah, that photo has “joyful” written all over it! ๐
We thought so, glad you agree! ๐
I think that’s a safe bet.
๐
Oh yes, very joyful!!
He loves to be on the move!
Oh yes…definitely a joyful romp in the snow! Well done!
Thank you, Oz!
I so agree! is that a snowball or a real ball in your mouth?
That’s a real ball! It’s not often he gets it away from his sister, so he’s pretty happy when he does!
Nice, he looks happy and what a good looking jacket too. We figure most of the joyful pics will be happy dogs running and playing. This word has been impossible for us to get creative with.
I know, I couldn’t think of anything else to do. I didn’t even get the shot I was really hoping for either, so I’m glad you thought this one was good. ๐
