As I spent time outside today photographing our senior Golden Retriever Sheba playing fetch with her siblings for today’s post, it occurred to me that if you didn’t know it, you’d never guess that she had been diagnosed with arthritis over 4 months ago. She has no trouble keeping up with her much smaller and agile Beagle sister Cricket, or even her new puppy brother, Luke.

It warms my heart to see her enjoying herself, because a few months ago she was limping and we were extremely worried about her. I first wrote about the joint supplement we had started her on back in November. We had high hopes for it then, and we are not disappointed. I believe her good health is in large part due to the Natural Stride. We have rarely seen her limp since she started taking it back in October.
Natural Stride comes in two forms, powder or chewable supplements. We started with the powder, which was great, and then switched to and tried the chews. There is no difference in the two as far as results. They both have the same benefits and they both are available in regular or vet strength. The chews actually cost less and you can buy larger size bags also. Sheba loves both.
We are extremely pleased with the results we have gotten with this product. You can see from the photos that Sheba is active and happy. She has not had to take a pain med even once since she started taking this. We have had some bitter cold weather lately, and she still wants to be outside….I thought the cold might aggravate her joint pain but we have seen no sign of that.

I also feel comfortable with this product because it is made in the USA by a family owned company, Natural Solutions for Life, in FDA registered facilities. Their focus is helping dogs, humans, horses, and livestock with joint pain, whether it be from aging, arthritis, or hip dysplasia. They stand behind their products by offering a 60 day money back guarantee. I can easily recommend this product because I have seen how it works in my own dog. If you are having similar issues with yours, you really have nothing to lose by trying it.

I took the survey. Thanks.
Thank you for taking it!
I like that their products are vet recommended and made in a FDA approved facility.
I think that gives us a confidence that we need as consumers today. Thank you for coming by, Sherry!
Those are fabulous pictures! I love action shots as you know. 🙂 Sounds like a great product to keep in mind because Thunder will be 8 this year and his orthopedic vet said that would be a good time to get him on joint supplements.
Thank you! I love taking the action shots too. I would definitely keep this product in mind for Thunder….it’s been successful for a lot of us that joined this campaign.
I took the survey
Thank you for taking it!
I took the survey! We actually just picked up a package of Zuke’s with glucosamine to try on our dogs so this is definitely interesting to me. I’ve got a post planned as to why we are looking for supplements and what we are currently doing.
Thanks for sharing this!!
You’re welcome! I will be watching for your post. Thank you for taking the survey!
That is great. Katie has issues with her front leg. The temperature isn’t the problem, it is walking on the snow and slippery stuff that is hard for her, but she does her best to keep up. Glad to see your senior behaving like a puppy. Those are wonderful moments!
It really is wonderful to have her behaving like a puppy. She is not a girl who wants to stay still, and it was difficult when we had to keep her quiet at first.
I think Katie wears the Pawz, doesn’t she? And that helps her. Kobi doesn’t have joint problems, just weakness in his back legs and the Pawz help him a lot with traction.
I learned that it’s made in the USA and it takes effect in days not months!
I also took the survey
Thank you for taking the survey, Mallory!
That is significant to me….we tried another supplement for Sheba at first and saw no results in 3 weeks. This truly did work much faster…we saw improvement within a week or so.
Look at her go, she is doing really well. Can’t keep her down now huh? Glad to hear the product is working for her.
Thank you. We really can’t keep her down, and it’s so great!
My dogs will love to win this
Good luck!! Thank you for coming by!
Hey Sheba
So happy you’re feeling so much better buddy! 🙂
I hope you’re having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Thanks, Snoopy! Every day I get to play fetch is a fun day! 🙂
Love, Sheba
Wow, you got some amazing photos of her playing! They look awesome 🙂 I can never get good action shots like that as of yet. Shiner’s still been doing great on her Natural Stride too and I also haven’t seen any more limping from her, even with the colder weather.
Thanks, Ann. I use my good Pentax SLR for those shots….it has a “sports” setting and that seems to do very well for that. I’m so glad Shiner is still doing well also!
Great giveaway! And I love the photos to!!!!

Thank you! I hope you entered if you can use the product for any of your dogs!
I took the survey. I liked that they ask one to rate variables regarding how important they are in a product.
Thank you for taking the survey!
I love reading positive reviews about joint support. My girl is young, but occasionally acts as though her hips bother her.
Sheba showed issues with her front shoulders off and on long before she was diagnosed with arthritis. It might do your girl good to get on a maintenance supplement now (check with your vet of course first though).
I wish Roxy could take this. She is allergic to shell fish, so no go.
I hope you can find something for her that will help. I wish I knew of something too that didn’t have the shellfish in it.
Took the survey. I know Dot could use some supplementation but feel sort of foggy about what ingredients I need to look for in a good joint supplement.
Thank you for taking the survey! I’m not an expert either….this is the 2nd supplement we tried for Sheba. I know glucosamine is the ingredient they all seem to have in common. Then each company has other ingredients that they feel work….in Natural Stride’s case I think Cetyl Myristoleate and MSM are what they have different. That could be just why the last one we used did nothing for Sheba, and this one has made such a difference.
I’ve been looking for a joint supplement for my older girl. Their Natural Stride Joint Supplement for Dogs might be one I have to try!
We are so glad we tried it.
Sounds like some really good supplements. We have one older dog i will have to check into this thanks 🙂
If your dog needs a supplement, then this would be a great choice…I think you’ll like what you find.
That is incredible that your sweet baby has been able to be pain free since starting Natural Stride! Love the picture of Sheba in the air catching her ball! What a fantastic product.
PS Davinia and Indiana are jealous that you have snow to play in. All we have gotten so far is freezing rain and frozen water pipes.
It IS a fantastic product, and we are so glad that we got a chance to try it.
Our snow is slowly washing away though, we’ve been getting warm weather and rain lately. It’s been a crazy winter here in NH, but at least we had snow to play in for a while!
I entered but one of our senior furiends in US can have it if I win xxx
That is so nice of you!
I’m still young but I want that when I am older, look at Sheba go WooooHooooo xxxooxxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Hopefully you can be just as active when you are older too, Mollie!
