We finally got some sunshine! It was probably not going to last too long, however, so Cricket thought she’d better take full advantage while she could.
It was so nice to have some play time where it was nice and dry in the yard, and without having to bundle up. We had to put bug spray on instead; that’s the price you pay for nice weather I guess!
Even though I’ll be out of town, and hopefully enjoying better weather, our weather here in New England might finally really break by next Tuesday. Paws crossed for everyone!

She looks so relaxed. Thunder loves to lay on the deck. Too bad for him, we will be replacing it with a paver patio. Wonder if he will like that as well?
We have a brick patio on the other side of the house, and Cricket likes that as well. As long as it feels warm, I think they’re good!
Looks like Crickett is enjoying her time in the sun.

It’s Mother’s Day Sunday and the Boys are on the front porch with me now, enjoying just the opposite. They’ve got shade and they’re loving it.
Happy Mother’s Day
We were definitely searching for that shade when we were in Myrtle Beach too! 🙂

Nellie used to lay in the sun like that. Enjoy cricket.

We are going from 60’s to 85. And I agree, the bugs are bad. But the dogs do love soaking up the sun!

We have cloudy skies this morning – with a chance of showers – but the girls and I don’t mind. As long as it’s not pouring-down rain, we’ll play in the yard all day long. Of course, I don’t get much done around the house but who cares?. LOL
I agree… that is the price. but sunny moments are worth some effort… butt just between us; we have rain… and that is so great, so I can skip the dirty backyard work, yippi ;o)
We have a beautiful weekend on tap, but we will be busy with our trial, so not a lot of time to enjoy it. That’s alright, the nice weather will stick around we think.
