We had a wonderful Christmas day at home with just my hubby and I and the fur kids. The kids got a lot of toys and treats and were busy all morning (all day really) playing inside and out with them. Yesterday we had my family over for our family Christmas. It was a busy day of cleaning the house and getting ready for company, and then we had a lovely family party. Now I’ll be taking a deep breath and trying to re-group after the holidays, and hopefully get back into the swing of things! Here are a few highlights from Christmas, and we’ll be sharing more photos throughout the week.
Sheba and Luke helping me open one of my presents!
Cricket got a new Zogoflex Jive ball, which she gets every year. They are always her favorite, and she was trying to get me to throw it in the house! Dad took all of them outside later to play.
Samantha loved these colorful fishies that crinkle and have catnip in them.
Conrad wasn’t quite as sure what to make of it, and was far more interested in the treats they got afterwards.
This ball was Luke’s clear favorite. He played with every single toy they got (2 tough plush toys, 3 balls, and one Hurley), but this is the one he has had the most. It is supposed to squeak, but stopped squeaking early on; Luke didn’t care.

The kids sent home gifts with all of my family for their furry cousins. My sister sent a picture of Cousin Trixie this morning playing with her Silly Bums toy we gave her.

They sure got some good stuff from Santa!
I think they are pretty happy with it!
Looks like a fabulous Christmas!!!!

It was! I can’t tell you just how much fun Luke had with all of his new toys, and the girls joined in as well. We gave Luke a break from his “rest” and he really had a great day of playing.
It sure looks like everyone had a good Christmas! I would have done the same as Luke with that ball! Love Dolly
We had a great one! Luke had so much fun with that ball….but it did not survive all his fun!
Lovely photos. Looks like everyone had a great day.
We really, really did!
Our Christmas started out a little stressful – but later it turned out to really be one of my favorites. We were all together and it was all about family. You sound like you really enjoyed yours also. That’s what counts.
That is what counts. No matter what you do, as long as you are with the people (or pets) that you love and enjoy that togetherness, that is what’s important.
What a fun Christmas you all had!
We sure did!!
Well everyone certainly looks like they are having a blast!
They had such a good time, and it was so much fun for us to watch!
What a great Christmas! You had lots on the nice list at your house! ☺
It sure was! I think a little bit of naughty might have been overlooked. 🙂
What a great Christmas! Have a great weekend.
It sure was! Hope you had a great weekend too!
Looks like fun! Sometimes a real quiet Christmas is nice, but family is good too.
Hopefully we find a balance in there somewhere! It’s all good, just to be with our loved ones through the holidays.
