Luke and the Dadz got a new toy this weekend! OK, it’s really just the Dadz’ toy, but Luke will also benefit from it.
Luke declined to climb up and sit with Dadz, he was just a bit nervous about it. If we’d had treats we may have been able to lure him up there, but we’ll give him time to get used to it and try again at some point. He was happy to pose very nicely with it though!
Luke, his sisters, and I are all very happy about this toy because it will be used to help make the trails we want through the woods on our property! We look forward to lots of walking and jogging on these trails. We’re pretty sure the process is going to be a lot of fun for the Dadz too. We may never see him in the house again unless it’s raining. π

Looks like a cool boy toy! Hope your boyz have lotz of fun!!
That’s a big toy! My mom’s dad used to drive his riding lawnmower with their dog Lucy on it. You guys must have a lot of property! Love Dolly
17 acres!!
Nice rig! Lots of hours of “fun” ahead.
Now that’s what you call one cool ride Luke!
Looks like busy times ahead at your house.
How fun!! The trails in our woods (at least from what I’ve been told) were made by people riding bikes! The irony of all this is now, wheels are not allowed on the trails, which I think is pretty mean. If I see someone riding a bicycle up there, I don’t say anything, but if they ride a motorized bike, that’s another thing.
I bet the Dadz is one happy guy, work but in a fun way. π
It’s amazing how a piece of machinery can make work so much more fun for men. π
Wow that’s one BIG toy!! I think Daisy would be afraid to get on it…but then again she’s so little, she’d probably only reach halfway up the tire! π Have fun Dadz!
Boys and their toys…We have a similar (older) Kubota tractor. Congratulations!
What a fine looking unit you got there. Have a fun summer using that.
Well, that looks like fun!
New trails! How exciting for everyone.
Nice ride! Harley would run after those huge tires. Jax would be all up in that.
Oh wow! That’s so cool! How exciting!
We are excited to hear about your adventures on your new trails!!
If you ever get him into nose work, it will be a fun vehicle to search too π
I hadn’t thought of that, it will be great!!
Wow! That is a big toy and y’all will really be able to do a lot of clearing with that baby!
Wow!!! that is cool! Do you wear a helmet driving that thing
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
That’s definitely not a toy that I’d want to go anywhere near without lots of treats, either, Luke! I just got my first lawnmower last month and the instruction manual has me feeling lucky to be alive after using it a few times–every other safety tip made it sound like I was going to lose a limb if I even looked at the thing! I’m sure this thing would be even more frightening π But trails sound amazing!
It does scare me, but at least it doesn’t scare my hubby (or just enough so he’s safe with it!).
I wanted to tell you that I finally made my trellis with the cat tags for all my angel babies. It isn’t nearly as nice as yours, but hopefully I can “fancy” it up over time. I have it behind our St. Francis statue. I am going to try to share it on the blog this week. Hugs, Janet
I can’t wait to see it! Please let me know when you share it. I’m so behind on all of my reading, and I don’t want to miss it. I am so glad you did it.
I had a bit of a panic here. I set up the trellis in my garden at the new house, but I couldn’t find my tags! I went through every box in the garage, and I was so upset that maybe they got lost in the move. But, thank goodness, yesterday I searched again and finally found them! xxoo
What a great toy. Will you get to play with it too?
I’m not sure I’d be allowed. But even if I was , I’m not very mechanically inclined. I’d probably just run over something important. π
That is a huge toy!!!! I cannot wait to see all that gets accomplished with that toy. So much fun!
that is a toy for a boy… my dad got leaky eyes, he would love to have such big toys with a lot of power… sadly the mama said NO!!!!! girls can’t understand the dreams of a boy, right?
That will be so much fun making your own trails through your OWN woods! That’s a very nice toy for sure. We have a Kubota toy here but it’s a mini compared to that and it only mows our grass!
Hugs, Sammy
