Many of you probably remember that a few weeks ago we had Luke’s DNA tested. The results confirmed that he is mostly Labrador Retriever, but we were skeptical about the other breeds revealed. Now that Luke is 6 months old and his personality is emerging, it occurred to me that perhaps there’s something else in his DNA that they never would have tested for. Here’s some hints:
What is black & white?
Grazes on grass?
And drinks from a trough?
Here’s a hint:
…..
….
…
..
Can you say MOOOOOOO?
Look at this side by side comparison:
Am I right? 🙂
OK, fine, Lukey-Lu, cows probably don’t play with balls! Mom was just teasing you!
Hope you enjoyed a little black and white Sunday chuckle. Have a great day! As always, thank you to Sugar the Golden Retriever and Dachshund Nola for hosting the hop.
LOL Great post! Separated at birth!
Thanks…glad we could give you a laugh! 🙂
Cute post! Is he also “bossy” with the other dogs?
Thanks! Ha ha, but yes, he is actually “bossy” with the other dogs!
So cute! Just don’t let your mom put a big bell around your neck, Luke! 🙂
Oh no, don’t give her any ideas, Miss Lee!! BOL
Love, Luke
Hahaha. Cute! I just did a WP on Faolan, and the results had an “interesting” surprise in them.
Oh really? Are you going to blog about it….I’m curious now!?
BOL! That was so cute! Luke does kinda remind you of a cow…from the side…because if his coloring. I’m sure he won’t “mooo” anytime soon though.
Oz
We sure hope not! BOL I was actually surprised when I found those cow photos how similar the coloring really was!
BOL! With that coloring, he sure does look like one of those holsteins.
Poor guy….he may end up as big as a cow too at the rate he’s going! LOL
That was too funny!
Thanks! 🙂
MOL! We definitely see the resemblance!
It’s uncanny, isn’t it? hee hee
Sorry Luke, that did give us the giggles!
That’s OK, Brian, someone has to give Momz something to blog about, right?
Love Luke
Ha! I can seen the resemblance! He’s a cutie, for sure!
Thanks, Maggie!
BOL!!! That was just too funny!!! I do see the resemblance though!
I cant remember if I properly thanked you BTW for putting my name in to be featured on Mollys blog today! Thank you so much!
have a great weekend!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I think you did thank me for putting your name in for Molly’s….you are very welcome!
Hope you had a great weekend too!
Hmm.. I do see some resemblance. I tell Mr. N he is part cat and mountain goat.
🙂 I’ve often told Cricket she is just like a cat too! I wonder which they think is worse?
Too funny, and yeah, good job getting that pic that looks so much like him, Jan! Luke, it’s okay anyway, because cows are cute too!!
At the rate he is going he’s going to be as big as a cow too…hee hee!
I feel so bad for Luke. Mom always tells people my fur coat looks like a Holstein cow and I find it so rude and not funny! Just because I am white with big black spots. I guess at least I am not alone. Have Luke call me if he needs to talk…
Luke greatly appreciates you commiserating with him, Emma, and will be keeping your # on speed dial!
Bwwwwah!!! I sooooooooooooooo needed that laugh!! xoxo
So glad we could oblige! xxoo
That is so funny!
Luke may never live this one down!
I wonder how long it took you to find that picture, they could be twins. Very cute!
Longer than I probably should have spent looking! I didn’t even realize until I put them side by side how well I had done though!
WOL! WOL!
🙂
hahaha that was great, bessy….mooooooo Have a great day.
Thanks!! Hope you had a great weekend!
LOL….only cuter, and not smelly.
That’s definitely a bonus, right? 🙂
Well, now that you mention it……..there is a bit of “moo” in that coloring of his – he wears his cow-coat well!!
Hugs, Sam and Pam
Luke thanks you!! He is a handsome cow-boy anyway, isn’t he? 🙂
