Dear Auntie Connie,
I love this photo of you and your dog Malakai (Mali). Since you have a dog, I think you could find it in your heart to forgive me for chewing your shoe, and for barking at you. I promise I won’t do any of it next time you come visit us. Please come back soon.
Love, Luke
uh oh,,,, but the cuteness wins! I bet he was forgiven.
The cuteness has to win, right? I think he was forgiven, as long as he’s on his best behavior next time. 🙂
We hopped over from the BlogPaws hop and yes, Brighton also loves to chew on shoes, especially Crocs…nom nom nom!
Crocs are fair game, aren’t they? They’re kind of made of the same material as some dog toys. 🙂
Thanks for stopping over!
I am sure she will forgive you Luke!
I hope you’re right!
Oh, oh… looks like you’re in big trouble, Luke! You should’ve blamed it on the cats 🙂
Yeah, the cats, that’s it! Just because the sandal was in my mouth doesn’t mean I’m the one that stole it and broke it, right? BOL!
Luke, never admit to chewing shoes. It could have just exploded. They don’t make sandals like they used to. *Feel free to use that line of defense!
You should be forgiven for your honesty. ♥
Thanks for the ideas! I’m going to remember those! Honesty IS the best policy though I thought! Plus I was kinda caught red-pawed. 🙂
How sweet of you to give up your treat allowance!
I thought that was really going the extra mile!
Love, Luke
Nope, couldnt stay mad at that sweet face! Happy WW!
Thanks! We hope Auntie Connie will feel the same!
With a face like that I’m sure you’ll be forgiven. 🙂
Thanks….we hope so!
Hahaha! This made me giggle!
🙂
Oh no. Did you think it was a chewie toy?
Lucky that puppies have to be forgiven. It’s the rule.
Everything is a chewy toy, isn’t it?
Thank goodness for that rule!!
How can you stay mad at that face?!
Mom knows that she can’t!
I am sure you will be forgiven. Who can hold a grudge against the face!
No one with a heart. 🙂
That was so funny
Thanks…that’s what we were aiming for! 🙂
There’s no way that she isn’t going to forgive you! Just look at the cute face!
Who could resist the face, right? 🙂
Aw who wouldn’t forgive that face <3
I know, right?? 🙂
Aww Luke! You sweet pup! I’m sure she will forgive you. How could anyone not forgive you? But no more chewing sandals! BOL!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
No one could stay mad at this face, could they? I promise no more sandal chewing….it’s not my first time either. Luckily Momz wasn’t so attached to hers (they were cheaper ones)!
Aw, how could anyone NOT forgive you?! What a sweet letter you wrote, Luke!! I know I would forgive you!
Thank you!!! I gave it my best shot, it really should work I think!
Oh dear! If it was up to us we would totally forgive you!
Thank you!! Auntie Connie isn’t proving to be so easy though…..I had to promise to be on my best behavior next time she comes and THEN she’ll forgive me!!
I’m sure she’ll forgive you. That cocked head wins ’em every time.

It has to work, right? I knew that was the best look to go with!
I’m pretty sure you were set up on the shoe thing. Looks like the work of a cat to me! Cats are very sneaky!
Yes, that was it, Emma, thank you!! The cat brought the shoe to the bottom of the stairs and chewed through the strap. I only found it there and picked it up to return it when Dad caught me with it!! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 🙂
