The theme for this week’s #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge is “Sleepy“. I browsed through recent photos knowing I had plenty of sleeping or sleepy shots already. The best ones I found were all of Cricket! I don’t know if she sleeps more than the other dogs, or just looks cuter doing it. 🙂 There is a common theme in these photos:
“Lying in the sun makes me very sleepy!”

“I couldn’t possibly get up to see what you’re doing down there…I’m way too comfy”
“I can’t even stay awake for a photo shoot!”

Thank you to the The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the#52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. Are you joining in the fun? Photos can be shared via blog or social media, just use the hashtags #52Snapshots and#PBSG.
So sweet. Lying in the sun makes me sleepy too, as long as it is not too hot.
she loves her deck, great sleepy photos.
Haha the sun makes me sleepy too! Love Dolly
Oh yeah, the sun will do it every time! Sweet photos. 🙂
Awe, so sweet! These pictures are making me sleepy, too! 😀
I’m with Caren – the second one is my favorite too! It’s kinda the way we’re all feeling today. The weather is perfect for a nap in the back yard!
I think it’s because the sun feels good now, instead of sweltering!
I get that same look when I find myself “Meditating” at the computer! BOL!
I’m feeling very sleepy today. Can I come snooze with you??
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I love when they can’t keep their eyes open like that.
“”Yawn”” Now I’m tired too.
Sleepy head
Snorts,

Awe so sleepy and cute.
My fave is the second one, it’s perfect!
DakotasDen
She looks so comfy, doesn’t she? 🙂
I bet you’ve been working like a dog! You better get some rest as you look real sleepy!
I have been working hard – I had to write a couple of blog posts recently! I don’t know how you do it all the time, Emma, it’s exhausting!
Love, Cricket
that’s a pawsome idea… you learnt that from Samantha, right? Cats are the masters of meditation and that was nice that she shared such an important part of feline wisdom with you :o)
That’s right! Samantha teaches us meditation and yoga as well. Cats need to earn their keep somehow!
