We’re sharing just a few photos this week for Nature Friday.
We’ve had a busy week, plus it’s been cloudy and/or rainy most of the week too, not too conducive to photo taking! I thought I’d share a couple shots, sans sunshine, of our fall decorations around the house and farm anyway.

The corn stalks and pumpkins are from our own garden, the mums and Indian corn were purchased locally.
Then we have another shot of Luke on his rock from last week – that may be the last time we saw the sunshine, I’m not sure!

Just in case you think he was totally cooperative with the photos being taken, we had this one too.

Have a great weekend, and here’s hoping we – and everyone else – get lots of sunshine! The trees are really changing color here and I’d like to get some nice photos of them.
Also, stay tuned, we have a couple giveaways coming up this month, along with *someone’s* birthday at the end.
Happy October!
Thanks to our friends The LLB Gang for hosting the Nature Friday blog hop. Please visit them and other blogs through the links below!
I love that yellow door! And your egg and dog treat stand is precious. So happy for you my friend. Looks like you’re living your best life – and so deserving of it I might add. Luke is looking super healthy also….
Thank you so much, Cathy! We are definitely living the good life around here, and living more naturally does seem to be good for Luke too!
Oh WOW! Everything looks GREAT! You have a great flair for decorating!! And I saw the chicken right away, too.
Thank you so much, Sue! I love decorating for fall, especially using natural decorations. Fall colors are my favorite!
Your decorations look great! You know how long those would last around here? One days until evening when the kids would destroy or steal them. Sigh!
I am so thankful we don’t have hooligans like that around here! I remember when we used to live in more suburban areas, and we’d often find our pumpkins smashed in the road! 🙁
I love your fall decorations. Your store is adorable and I would love to visit one day. : )
Thank you! We’d love to have you visit the farm. 🙂
Everything looks great! I love fall.
I like decorating for fall even more than Christmas, I think! 🙂
Wow, can’t believe how many leaves have fallen in your neck of the woods. The city still is mostly green on the trees though the high country had lots of golden aspens. Happy weekend!
P.S. LOVE your autumn decorations!!
Thank you! We are really getting overloaded with leaves right now! Yet, somehow there are still plenty left on the trees. 🙂
Fall sure looks pretty up your way and we really like your yellow door too. Howdy Luke!
Howdy, Brian and crew!!
The yellow door is perfect for the season, we think!
Woofs, Luke
Wow, it’s really looking like fall at your house! We wouldn’t want to be the one to have to rake all those leaves. 🙂
Thank goodness the Dadz has a leaf blower!! 🙂
I spotted the chicken right away! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your yellow door, your decorations, your stand where you sell items………I want to come there NOW!!! It is all so charming, beautiful, cozy looking and oh so inviting!!!! It is just glorious! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you SO much, Caren! We wish you could come visit!! ♥
Lovely lovely lovely!!! Have a great weekend.
Thank you, JoAnn! You too!
If Luke is in a post then all is right with the world. He’s a handsome pup.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Extra treats for Luke. ♥
He always gets extra treats. 🙂
We love your autumn decorations at your front door entrance and we see the chicken☺
I’m not always so cooperative either, Luke.
There’s so much to see and smell, we can’t be bothered to sit still for photos, right, Molly?
xo Luke
I thought dogs had short attention spans … then I met Ellie. She’ll chase one toy and stop following the first toy to bat around the second. I love these furry balls of individuality.
They like to keep us guessing! Our hallway is littered with toys that Luke dropped on his way to grab a different one!
I would love to buy a big bag of tomatoes… I love tomatoes ;O) and I like the corn stalks, they are a super decoration in fall.
If only we could ship you some tomatoes….we’re really overloaded with them! 🙂
It looks like a beautiful location for fall, and we can feel the cold damp weather in those photos. Love the front door!
Thank you! We finally got some sunshine today, thank goodness.
