The theme for this week’s #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge is “world“. This was a tough one; when I’m brainstorming ideas for each week’s challenge, I always have the word rolling around in my head for days. I try to think of different quotes or phrases involving that word. “It’s a small world”, “welcome to my world”, and a few others came to mind. Here’s what I ended up going with:
I always have to tell “the rest of the story”. That was taken on a weekday morning that was one of my work from home days. When the Dadz leaves for work, the dogs all get a treat, so there is some rearranging after they’ve jumped up for that:
Good thing I didn’t want to go back to bed, as I seem to have lost my spot! Tough life they have, huh?
We hope that all is right with your world too, as long as you have your dogs and other pets in it. 🙂

Um….I totally get this. Last night I lay there with no covers and on my side because Sampson decided he was going to spread out. LOL Thankfully, it was too warm and after about a half an hour of me ‘draped’ over him, he got up, then I could get under the covers.
Delilah…well she likes to steal your spot when you get up to pee. I think the likes the warmth.
They are so adorable, and really, would you have it any other way?
Sheba likes to sprawl out too, and usually crowds me. But she’s easy, if I put my leg on top of her, she can’t stand that, and she’ll get up and move.
Luke does the same as Delilah, he takes your spot when you get up to pee. I bet you’re right about the warmth.
And nope, I would not have it any other way! 🙂
No room for people lol!
Oh, those are the cutest pics! They definitely have it tough!
LOL, your bed reminds me a whollllllle lotta my bed! haha!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Looks like everyone in your world is very content!
So sweet! And yes, having my Nina with me makes everything alright with my world!! She’s my love!
They sure look comfy. We think you can squeeze in there. 😉
Oh my goodness I love it!! Yes, all is right in the world when we have our loves 🙂 They are living the good life!!
They all sure do look comfy!
That is so funny. Our Golden used to take over our spots on the bed whenever we woke up. I love your world photo. ♥
Every night when I’m getting ready for bed, Sheba has to lie in my spot. Every night I have to make her move so I can get in bed. It’s just too funny….I’m not sure why she does it, but sometimes think it’s just to get attention!
Until Callie had her first ACL surgery, she always spent at least part of the night on our bed. Shadow, too. But as they got older – and a little more arthritic – they rarely jumped up on the bed, except during a thunderstorm. (And then Callie would try to melt into the headboard. Poor baby.)
But, yes, as long as my furry kids are a part of it, all is right with my world too. I know that even though I can no longer see them, Kissy and Callie are always with me, their Daddy, and their sisters.
When we got a new bed a few years ago, it was quite high. Our beagle Kobi was getting older then and we knew he wouldn’t be able to jump on it. So we got stairs so he could get up there, and they’ve been there ever since!
perfect quote and photo!
that’s true :o) even when I have to run to get a good place in my bed…pardon… in easy’s bed… he is my world :o)
The bed is definitely the dogs’….we are probably lucky they let us share it! 🙂
