It was time for baths this last week, Sheba headed to the “spa” for her bath and trimming, and Luke and Cricket got their baths at home. Everyone looks and smells so great!
Our groomer said that Sheba was much more cooperative this time, and Luke and Cricket were both pretty good for us too (though it’s a good thing there’s two of us because they do try to escape the shower). Cricket gets a little nerved up about it, and was shaking afterwards (it wasn’t cold). She wanted to go out and play ball and I gave in since I knew that would relieve her stress. So they’re not staying clean forever, but they still look and smell good!

On a couple of unrelated notes: I was recently interviewed for the Cat and Toys (Best Cat Toys and DIY Meow!) blog. It was exciting for me to be interviewed and I enjoyed sharing my thoughts on cats and other subjects. Click here to read!
I’ve been in Maine for a couple of days so I’m behind on reading everyone’s blogs but I’ll be back in the swing of things soon. Can you believe I actually scheduled this post ahead of time (if you read my Blog Tour post, you’ll know that’s an accomplishment for me)? 🙂
Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday blog hop!
They looks all nice and shiny. 🙂 We used to send our Golden to the groomer because we could never clip him correctly. He always looked so nice and heat when he came home.
I just love how Sheba looks. I could never make her look that good when I tried it myself. She’ll be a regular customer at the groomer’s from now on!
Looking good! Now how long until they’re dirty again 😉
Not even a day! LOL
Everybuddy looks great! Let’s see how long they stay clean. 😉
They weren’t going to let the clean last any longer than they had to! 🙂
They look fabulous! I just love when the herd is all clean and shiny! Here’s hoping it lasts, at least a couple days! 🙂
Thanks! It’s about a week now, and they at least still feel soft, and Sheba’s head still smells good. Clean, not so much!
Mr. N is at the groomer today! I’m counting down the hours till he’s done.
It seems weird being home all day with one of the dogs gone. I bet Mr. N. looks pretty spiffy now too!
Looking great! We are taking Sugar soon to the groomers. Have a safe trip back. Happy Wednesday. Golden Woofs
Thank you! We had to drive home through thunderstorms which was not too fun, but we got home safely.
Hope Sugar doesn’t mind too much going to the groomers!
Wow! You pups look so great!!!! Nicely done! Keep that mud off you! hahaha! Yea….right!
Maine? That’s awesome! Hope your having fun!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thanks, I had a great time in Maine!
The dogs didn’t stay clean for long, but they are still softer anyway!
There’s nothing better than a sweet smelling pup.
That’s for sure!
Bath time is a weekly thing around here! Our Golden, Tucker was like washing a truck and he was a leaner. LOL! Your crew looks great ♥
Thanks! LOL…yeah, we got pretty wet ourselves! We are not ambitious enough to do it weekly around here, though they could certainly use it!
Looking good gang! 🙂
Thank you!!
If only that just bathed smell lasted more than a day! Or even a day
LeeAnna and Cole the poodle at lapaylor.blogspot.com
I think we got the smell to last a couple days, at least when we got up close to them anyway! They didn’t stay very clean looking, however.
Thank you for coming by!
My guys can’t wait to get rid of that sissy groomer smell
It’s just not becoming on a dog…or so they think anyway!
Everyone looks SPIFFY! I saw your interview yesterday…awesome!
Oz
Thank you, Oz!!
If only they could stay clean and shiny. Too much to ask I suppose.
Yes, I suppose it is! Dogs just don’t think they are meant to be clean!
Oh how beautiful (handsome in Luke’s case) they all look! It’s just about time for my girls to go to the “spa” too. Have to make the appointments today, in fact. So, thanks for the reminder!!
Thank you and you’re welcome for the reminder!! 🙂
Looking great! I’m glad my gang loves baths
Thanks! It does make it easier if they don’t put up a fight!
It’s so nice when all the baths are done and they smell so good. Though you’re right they don’t like to stay clean and pretty for long 🙂
They don’t appreciate it nearly as much as we do!!
I go to the groomer every three months and come back looking awesome. Bailie is real carefree and just gets her bath and grooming at home. You pups all look great, so find something nasty to roll around in 😉
Don’t worry, Emma, they were rolling around in the grass in no time! Sheba has been going to the groomer about every 3 months now too. I love how she looks and don’t want to go back to trying to do her myself!
YAY! Baffs for everyone (except me!!!!)……would you believe I’ve only had ONE baff in my whole entire 14 years? Yep – the day Mom brought me home from the shelter….she said I was “stinky” !!
Hugs, Sammy
I do believe it, Sammy, I am way too chicken to try to give the cats a bath!!
