While our whole household is thrilled that Cricket is feeling better on her new heart medications, there might be one household member that is just a bit put out by one situation:

When Cricket wasn’t feeling well, her appetite wasn’t that great, so she usually slept right through it when I was eating my lunch or a snack, so Luke was the one who got to sit right next to me in hopes I’d drop a crumb. He knew he’d be the first to get to lick my plate or bowl and get the last nibble of whatever I was eating. Now, his older sister has assumed her rightful position of being first in line.

He’s a good boy, and accepting of it, and we’re all happy to have Cricket back where she belongs, waiting hopefully for food.

I’m glad she’s feeling better!
Thank you, so are we!!!
So glad Cricket is feeling better! There’s nothing worse than sleeping through snack time. Luke is a very good little brother 🙂
Cricket says he has his moments, but it’s certainly not all the time! LOL
oh i’m so glad she is feeling much better
Thank you, JoAnn!
Way to go Cricket! Okay, let’s eat!
I’m glad Cricket’s meds are working.
Thank you, Edie!
I’m sure Luke is thrilled to have his Cricket back.
I think he’s happy to give up his spot if it means his sister is back to her old self!
Gotta love the pecking order of dogs.
Especially when they accept it themselves!
We are so happy Cricket is feeling better!!
Thank you!! ♥
We bet Luke prefers having Cricket better than some crumbs of food. But throw him a few…just to make him feel a little better. 😉
Yup, we agree. But since he’s so good, we make sure he still gets some crumbs. 🙂
Hugs Cricket

So happy to hear this!! 😀
I’m glad Cricket is feeling better. Hopefully, there will be enough crumbs for everyone!
We always make sure there’s enough to go around!
Glad Cricket is feeling better!
Thank you, Debi!
that would make me quite happy too!
That is such wonderful news about Cricket. I loved seeing her sitting next to the table in “her rightful place”. It’s amazing how familiar we become of their habits and how wrong it feels when they change due to illness. I hope that Cricket continues on her healing path.
Thank you. It is so tough and worrisome when they get out of their normal habits! Cricket is still having some ups and downs but overall is still doing quite well.
girls win… always sigh…. but I’m glad Crickets meds works mighty fine … even when she is the n° 1 at the crumb front now :O)
