“Back in the day” I enjoyed printing photos from my computer at home. Once I started blogging, I had so many photos I didn’t have time to pick and choose which to print all the time. I had a special photo printer and all the right papers. It was always a challenge to get the paper in right, I often screwed it up, and expensive papers and ink were wasted. Then when some time went by between uses, my ink dried up and I was faced with buying new ink. Ink is not cheap! So I mostly gave up on printing from home, though I still give it a shot occasionally.
Disclosure: Simple Canvas Prints provided Wag ‘n Woof Pets with one canvas print in return for this review. All opinions are our own.
Simple Canvas Prints online makes it so much easier to just choose and upload a photo, make some selections, and have not just a print, but a print on high quality canvas, professionally stretched, and ready to hang on my wall. That works much better for me.

It truly was simple to place our order. I knew exactly what photo I wanted to print when we received this offer. I’ve had a favorite photo of Luke and Cricket that I’ve shared on the blog before (Frick and Frack). It wasn’t necessarily the highest quality photo I’ve ever taken but something about it has always felt special to me. Perhaps it’s because it’s one of the first photos I have of them together after losing Sheba, and in it I feel like they look like buddies.
The process is step-by-step, from selecting your size, to uploading your photo, and along the way you can choose upgrades with the cost for them clearly displayed. You have choices on frame size or a rolled print. You can choose to have the image wrapped around the frame, or a black or white border. We chose the black border because I didn’t want to lose any part of the photo. It shows you what your photo will look like every step of the way, and going back and forth between choices is easy.
You can choose filters (I chose sepia), upgrade to museum quality, and even get a black frame. You can also purchase hardware they’ll attach, or a frame stand. Then you can choose design services from “simple touchup” to a “simple makeover”. The whole process does not take long at all.
Shipping didn’t seem to take long either, there were email confirmations along the way, and I was pleased to receive my canvas print packaged nicely. Then I just had to decide where to hang it! I found the perfect spot, and I’m very happy with it.
A Simple Canvas Print can make a wonderful gift for Christmas, or for yourself!
I think I might try this!

Well done! Beautiful picture
Thank you!
I love the photo of Cricket and Luke! – I need to find one of Shadow and Ducky – and love where you hung it! If I have time this weekend, I’ll check out the website! I still have my portable (HP) photo printer, but the ink is probably dried out, and I doubt HP even makes the ink cartridges for it any more.
Hope you and the girls are having a great time on your annual shopping trip!
We had a great time, thank you!!
Let me know if you decide to do one of your girls!

That looks so nice and we love the look of special photos on canvas!
I think they’re fun and different, and a nice change from a standard photo in a frame. 🙂
I love the picture you chose. It’s just beautiful.
Thank you, Pamela.
We love the canvas prints too. Your photo came out great!
Thank you! I wish the quality had been just a bit better (on my part, not theirs), but I still love it.
