Welcome to the Tuesday’s Tails Blog Hop, hosted this week by Carma Poodale. “This blog hop features shelter animals. Find a cat, dog, rabbit or other animal at a local shelter or rescue and feature them on this blog hop! Come join the fun and help a furry friend find a forever home. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to visit the other blogs and share their animals that need forever homes on your social media sites. Please spread the word!”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lisa at Dogs ‘N Pawz, who is normally our host for this blog hop. She is going through a very difficult time right now, and needs our support.
****UPDATE – CHLOE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!
Today I am featuring a beautiful young Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix named Chloe. Chloe is a medium sized dog, a bit small for a golden, and has a lighter coat. She is 9 months old. Chloe was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter in Virginia. My heart always goes out to “owner surrenders” because I can’t imagine why anyone would leave such a beautiful young girl at a shelter. In this case, the “family had to move”. I don’t like to judge others, but I just would not move anywhere I couldn’t take my pets!
Chloe is a very happy young girl, loving, and energetic. She is mostly housebroken, though may need a refresher course once she gets in a new home.
Other details about Chloe:

A little about the rescue: SAP is a non-profit organization, primarily a transport rescue, rescuing pets from kill shelters all over the country, as well as helping local animals in need. Their goal is to save as many animals as possible, as well as educating the public to try to decrease overpopulation. They work closely with their local shelters in Vermont.

I know, I just can’t imagine, especially when they take them to a high kill shelter. I think Chloe will find a good home.
Oh so cute – she should get snatched up immediately!!!
I agree!
I didn’t realize Lisa was having a hard time, thank you for bringing this to my attention. (I’m a bit behind….) 🙁
I do hope that Chloe finds a new home soon. She has the sweetest face.
Thank you, Donna, I hope so too.
Glad I was able to let you know about Lisa….I am always behind too so know how that is for sure.
Awww too totally cute!
So true!!
Chloe is a cute pup! I hope she can finds her furever home and will never be given up again. Momma wanted me to comes by to explain the silvervine. Per your questions on my blog. Silvervine is an all natural herb that is like catnip but more potent, it can be a great alternative to cats who don’t like nip but is great for cats that also love nip as well. We sell the powder which can be rubbed on to toys and other objects to make them more enticing. In fact, momma bought me a Mickey Mouse which she gives to me on occasion to play with, I rubs, licks, chews and have a good old time. Then she puts him away for another time. If you want to get your kitties moving, more interactive toys in our interactive section of the cat toys for our shop are great options. We would highly recommend the neko flies. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrs – thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for coming by to explain that, Baby Patches! I had never heard of it, and need to find a way to get my cats to play more. I will have to come by and give your shop a look!
What a sweetie! She’s so pretty! She deserves a loving family… who will take her everywhere!
That is so true, Maggie!
Oh I would love to be rich, with a huge house and yard.I would take in all these I see on the blog xx00xxx
Mollie and Alfie
Absolutely, me too!!! xxooxx
Ugh, I wouldn’t move anywhere that didn’t take pets either! But hopefully this gives Chloe a chance to make it into a home where they will REALLY love her and look after her. She’s a doll.
Thanks for the nice comment on Pooch Smooches today. 🙂
You’re very welcome, Jackie.
You are right, Chloe deserves to have a much better home than what she obviously had before.
Chloe is such a little cutie-beauty! Sad that her owners gave her up, but at least she’s young so she’ll get a fresh start with a new loving family and have many great years ahead. She won’t even remember her stinky old family. Oops… need to take the judgey pants off :).
Will definitely share!
Thanks for sharing, Pam! Yeah, I had to try to hold off being judgey too…..I think everyone got the idea though! 🙂
I think Chloe has a good chance of finding a great home now.
Isn’t she a cutie!! I hope she finds a wonderful home soon.
She is so cute….that should go a long way towards helping her find that home!
Chloe is just totally adorable and I sure hope that special forever home finds her soon!
She sure is, and thank you, Brian!
I hope Chloe finds a loving home soon. Sharing.
Sheba.
Thank you, Sheba!
