It’s not too often that the Dadz and I just relax outside in the evening. We had an extra day off this week and by evening it was quite hot out, so relaxing on the patio with a cool drink and just chatting seemed like a good idea!
We keep pretty busy working around the new house, and between that, jobs, time with extended family, and caring for the fur family, things can get hectic. Summer is short here, so I want to detach from the computer just a little bit and enjoy it with the dogs more. I thought from time to time instead of writing a post, I might just put out a fun photo like this that shows us all enjoying the summer. I love the colors in this photo, and how everything frames Luke napping in the background.

I need to do the same thing – unplug from the computer and just give the girls more of my time. BUT I also need to get back to my school work. I’ve taken the majority of this week offf from it to take care of Shadow – she had a bout of IBS, poor baby. Now that she’s feeling better, maybe I can get some study time in this afternoon.
I’m sorry Shadow had a bad spell with her IBS, Sue, but am glad she is feeling better now. Hope you’re able to get back to your schoolwork. I have had such a hard time focusing on work this week, we’ve had some construction going on which is always distracting, but mostly the weather has just been so nice I can’t stay indoors!

oh I’m with you… as soon as we can sit outside without getting wet or turning blue with cold, I will spend the afternoons outside with Easy…sadly he is not a fan of the beach like me, so we will discover the woods and the non-water areas together :o)
I hope your weather gets better soon, so you can get out and enjoy it…even if you and Easy have different ideas about enjoying it! 🙂

Since we’re retired we have plenty of time to enjoy Sammy and our yard……..I love this photo too – very colorful and Luke looks happy to be lying on the cool concrete! Enjoy your summertime while you have it!
