We are joining Ruckus the Eskie for the very first Sepia Saturday blog hop. The rules are simple:
- Share any sepia photo – pets, families, nature, or experiences.
- Have fun!
- Grab the badge!
We weren’t originally planning on joining in this time, since we’ve been so busy with the holidays and the new puppy, and I only learned of it a couple of days ago. I didn’t think I’d have time, we are expecting more company tomorrow! This morning I was lying in bed and drinking my coffee and relaxing with the big dogs (Dad gets up early with Luke and the rest of us get to sleep in after the dogs have their breakfast). I always have my tablet and read my email and scroll through Facebook. I saw some of the blog posts for this new hop and it looked like fun! Lying next to me was Cricket and when looking at her it occurred to me that her beagle colors would look very good in sepia!
I also had my new phone, I finally got the Samsung Galaxy S4 I’ve been dying for, and hadn’t really played with the camera too much (the main reason I wanted it). Of course, Cricket didn’t cooperate but I got this photo of Kobi and was able to edit it right on my phone!
I found another photo of Cricket I’d taken recently with my camera and wanted to share that one too. I think the beagles look really good in sepia, what do you think?
Happy Saturday everyone and thanks to Ruckus for starting this fun hop! Visit the other sites through the links below.

Very nice pics! I got the same phone for Christmas and I love it! I’m using it right now to comment actually lol.
Thanks, Ann. I’m so glad you got an awesome new phone too!!
I’m sooooo glad you did decide to participate, you are absolutely right that beagles beg to be sepia toned! lol Enjoy your company!

the beagles look great in sepia, glad you joined. Have a great weekend. Kiss Luke!
Thank you. Luke sends a big pooch smooch back! 🙂
The first one looks like my sisters and I. We always sleep with our heads off the pillow on the floor! Super sweet pics!
Thanks, Emma. It is so funny the way you guys do that, it doesn’t look all that comfortable! 🙂
Those are some very content Beagles! I saw the post about the new hop, and I’ve been mulling over whether I’ll join. I love doing sepia photographs, but I don’t play with it as often as I’d like.
They are pretty happy! I definitely think you should give it a try, I know you’d do well with it.

Goodness, I would have to wake those two cuties up from their naps to get kisses. They look so sweet!
They are both sweeties, and they do get that a lot (being woken up for a kiss). 🙂
Really cute puppy pics!

Thanks, Ruckus, I was glad to join in, it’s a great idea for a hop.
Beagles are pretty much experts at sleeping comfortably, that’s for sure!
