Luke has some jealousy issues, and he likes to be the center of attention. He gets a little better as he gets older but still has his moments. He had one of those last weekend when I was trying to take photos of Cricket for our “Senior Silliness in Adopt a Senior Pet Month” post. I had to sort through photos with him photo bombing many, and even crop him out of some.
First it’s the nose….

Next we stick one leg in….
Then we stick several legs in….
“Are they seeing me? I’ll just put my whole body here.”
“Where did he go? Did he finally give up?”
Nope, he just went to get reinforcements. “They may be able to ignore just me, but they can’t ignore both me and Sheba carrying on with our silliness!”
“Mission accomplished.”
We are joining the Monday Mischief blog hop. Thank you to our host My Brown Newfies. Please visit other blogs through the links below for more mischief fun!
Luke’s version of the doggie hokey pokey. LOL Delilah is the same. She does not like having her photo taken or posing for photos, but try and take a picture of Sampson and she buts herself in there somehow!
Maybe he just has the modeling gene like Barley does! It doesn’t matter what I’m taking a picture of–her brother, a flower, a leaf, a student’s project–if she sees me pulling out the camera, she expects to be in front of it, so she’ll photobomb everything. Almost every close up of a flower I have has at least a sliver of a Barley nose in it somewhere 🙂
Luke doesn’t have to be in absolutely every photo, but he does get excited when he sees me get the camera out! I definitely think he enjoys the modeling as well.
Hahaha! My dogs are all SO jealous.
hahaha! That is too funny and I can so relate! Usually we get pictures pretty easily, unless of course it’s a picture I have to get. Then one of the boys always photobombs!
LOL! These are some really funny photo bombs. Luke is such a character. One thing I’ve noticed with us is that it’s been hard to get nice pictures with Callie. I usually need to remove Shiner from the room, but she knows how to open the door and will just let herself back in. And then by that time, Callie doesn’t want to take pictures anymore.
It’s hard enough to get cats to cooperate, without “help” from the dogs! LOL
That’s so cute! Gotta love a bratty little brother!
Luke plays that part perfectly….LOL.
Luke you silly photo bomber, your just like gambler, a ham when the camera comes out
too funny, too cute!!
absolutely adorable! Dakota has big time jealousy issues too…he can’t stand it if we say Cody’s name and not his! lol
Luke is “He who will not be ignored!”
Haha. Mr. N thinks it’s inconceivable that I take a photo without him.
Everyone wants in on the deal.
I totally get that because I get jealous a lot myself. If I see Mom photographing someone else I have a fit, same with if others are getting petted and I am not. Mom says I need to change, but I think I’m the center of the universe.
I’m not sure that’s an aspect of your personalities that can be changed. I think all we can do is try to make you behave when you’re having your jealous fits. Luke is just starting now to growl a little bit at his sisters when they’re getting attention and he wants it. That we are trying to discourage.
I am laughing because Hailey does the same when I am photographing Phod. I don’t think it is because she is jealous, rather she knows pictures = cookies and wants to make sure she gets lots!
Oh yeah, forget it if I’m using treats….then I have all 3 wanting to be in on it. This time it was a spontaneous grabbing of the camera when Cricket was playing, so I didn’t take time to grab treats. Thank goodness, that would have only made it worse! 🙂
LOL! Phoenix does the same thing when I am trying to do stuff with Zoe. I ended up having to work extra hard on teaching Phoenix to settle when it’s Zoe’s turn.
BOL, these photo bombs are hilarious!! Especially getting reinforcements!
Hehehehe! Too cute!
Lol is that a double photo bomb? I’m sure if Kilo had siblings our photo shoots would be the same.
We usually have to separate the boys in order to get a decent photo. They both have major issues with jealousy. BOL! They also like to ignore the camera or smear butts during photo sessions!
That is so cute. Daisy used to get jealous when I would pet or talk to another dog. She would get in between us and try and get me to move on 🙂
We all have those jealousy issues. Mom even got jealous when I took her cracker
Lily & Edward
OMG this is hilarious!!!!!!!! Koda is the same way, and I have had to edit SO many photos because of him photobombing! LOL!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Jax is starting to demand “mommy & me” time more and more. He’s a lot heavier than Harley and I can’t stop laughing when he strong arms Harley with his weight so he can get closer to me. Harley’s inly interested in tug toys and balls, so when we’re in the house they aren’t generally playing with the sam toy. Cute photos Jan.
This is hilarious! All of our dogs demand attention from me and it’s difficult to make them all happy sometimes; especially when I just get home. Last night, I was loving on Scout and Zoey aka The Fun Police comes running into the room barking her head off. So I go to give her some love and Scout starts barking his head off. It was pretty funny, because I couldn’t love on one without the other going nuts. It was a game for them so I walked out of the room.
They were fine with that and started playing together.
Oh, getting home is the worst time here….Luke is all over me and pushing the poor girls out of the way. Most of the time now the girls don’t even bother. They just run off and come see me later.
That is definitely one challenging aspect of multiple dogs…having time to give each one of them individual attention….especially when there are jealous ones in the crowd!
That is too funny!
Hi Y’all!
Reinforcements! BOL! That gets the point across!
It’s my Human Papa who is always photo bombing my Human Mama’s photos of me. ‘Course, I’m an only, so I’m ALWAYS the center of attention!
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
LOL I guess Luke is mastering the photo bomb.
Oh my, such a stinker! And then to go get reinforcements. LOL So silly.
OMG, that is too funny! Ducky is just like Luke! She has to be right smack in the center of all the attention all the time! That’s why I was still taking her to daycare several days a week before Sam retired. Her sisters and I needed the break! It was bad enough when she would try to push her way in between Shadow and me; but then she would try to steal Callie away from Shadow too. That’s when I really had to put my foot down. Shadow would look so “hurt” sometimes when Callie turned her attention to Ducky that it pained me. Yet, when I put Ducky in her crate for a nap, Callie was always right next to Shadow, cuddling her or cleaning her face and Shadow was as happy as could be. (I know she still misses Callie; but at least she’s mostly happy as long as one of us is here to keep her company.)
Luckily for us, our two girls aren’t close like that, so neither one minds when Luke steals their attention away from each other. But when my hubby and I want to give the girls some love….Luke has to be right there sticking himself in the middle of it! We have to quietly steal it when he’s not around…LOL. The girls are used to that part…our golden Moses was the same way. He’d shove himself in between me or hubby and any of the other dogs. I thought it might be a male thing….but I guess not if Ducky is the same way!
Before Ducky came along, Shadow would “have to” get attention if Callie was getting any, but Callie didn’t really mind that much. She was secure in the knowledge that we loved her from day one. 🙂
Haha well mom thinks this is just too funny! I’m the the jealous one at our house, its impossible for mom to get pictures without Taffy in them because of the treats, she could care less about the photos. She either holds one in her hand for me and then tosses one for Taffy to get her to chase it, or like last night, shuts Taffy out of the kitchen while we have a photoshoot. If you really want to see jealous its when mom wants to take pictures of Taffy. Love Dolly
If I am going to use treats for photos, forget it. I have to go into a separate room and close the door, or I have everyone! In this case, I couldn’t…it was a spontaneous thing and our house is open concept so there’s no bedroom door.
You guys do like to make things challenging! 🙂
hahahaha… we sure a brothers Luke… and we are always the centerpiece by hook or crook :o)
