We had a little mischief here over the weekend, and here’s how it went:
Momz: Sheba, what are you doing with Daddy’s sneaker?
Sheba: What sneaker? This sneaker? I don’t know where this came from! It wasn’t me! Conrad, could you help me out here….you are my only witness!?
Conrad: What’s in it for me? I really don’t want to get involved. But I’ll give you a hint: look out behind you!
Momz: Are you trying to say that Luke brought up the sneaker?
Sheba: I told you! I was framed!
Luke: Why are you staring at me, Momz??? I’m innocent!
What do you think? Was Sheba being framed? 🙂

A little housekeeping note: I’ve been having problems with spam and had to add some anti-captcha. I’m trying different ones to see what works and is the least difficult until I can come up with a better solution. You should only get the anti-captcha if you are leaving a comment here for the first time. Please let me know if it works otherwise! I want to keep things simple for my readers, but I had to try something, at least for now! Thanks!

Rooo pawsome superfun mischief! Shoes are the best to play with *waggy tail*
If the humans leave them lying around, they’re going to be played with, right Alfie? 🙂

Haha your right our post were similar today. I love the picture of Lukes butt walking away from the scene of the crime.
I know….too funny, right?
Poor Katie is the one that is getting framed at our house. I think it was a set up.
You are right, Emma! The poor old ladies are getting picked on by the youngsters, aren’t they?
That’s hilarious! Somehow Cooper always gets framed around here. Although, he’s usually guilty, so….
🙂 Sheba is not blameless in everything….she has been known to lead Luke astray. But in this case she really was innocent!

Oh yea, you shoe were framed!
Ha ha, yes, indeed!

I love Luke but seriously, Sheba looks waaaay too innocent! Haha!
She’s not blameless for everything….she and Luke are good at creating mischief together, but in this case Luke worked alone! 🙂
Hahaha. It is always someone else!
If Cricket had been around, she probably would have got blamed too!

The true suspect will probably return to the scene of the crime.

They always do, don’t they?
Hawk aka BrownDog says
Of course I believe you were framed Sheba! Everyone knows that Papa Humans are the worst at pickin’ up after themselves! They always leave shoes and socks layin’ about.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Ha! No one considered the fact that maybe it was the human that left the shoe lying around!
Jackie Bouchard says
Hmmm… The retrievers I’ve known have been known to carry around a shoe or a sock, so it does seem like something Sheba might do… On the other hand, Luke was probably counting on that! And every puppy I’ve known loves to carry around shoes so I’m going with Luke as the guilty party!
Very good reasoning! Sheba has never been a sock or shoe stealer like her brother Moses was. But Luke definitely is!
This is obviously a case of gremlins. Or cats. Maybe invisible cats/
LOL…maybe there’s a reason Conrad was being non-committal!
Ann Staub says
Well, he does look slightly guilty with the laser eyes and everything 😉
The eyes give it away, don’t they? 🙂
Cute puppy dog and don;t worry Sheba, most dogs do these things so it’s ok to be normal lol!
But I don’t steal sneakers! I swear!
Jenna,Mark “HuskyCrazed” Drady says
I am not really sure of any history of your pups and shoes, so it’s hard to say! BUT my conclusion. Sheba was framed! BOL!!!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
You are correct! Very good detective work! 🙂
