We are happy to report that Luke’s MultiPet Hippo toy* which came in September’s Pet Treater box is still alive and well!

Luke wanted to share a short video of him playing with this fun toy; the grunting noises it makes are a riot! Be sure to turn up your volume for the full effect.
We hope that gave you a little smile for your Monday!

Glad to see the toy survives.
Wow Luke that must be one tough hippo! Love Dolly
OMD! That hippo grunting! I love it. And Luke is so cute with it. Great video. Rudy and Rosie are such soft mouths that toys last forever around here. I love toys with funny sounds, like that hippo, but they rarely even make their toys make noise! It is a very, very quiet house. LOL
We would find so much quiet hard to take around here! LOL If it’s not the toys making noise, it’s Sheba and Luke fighting over the toys; or the alarm that is raised every time a car drives by, or they think they heard, smelled, or saw something outside!
Is it weird if I want the same toy for myself?? It’s just too cute! π
Who wouldn’t want to have that much fun? π
Yeah it lives, it wouldn’t be living too long at my house.
We’re amazed it’s still living….but Sheba has not shown a lot of interest in it, and she is really the most destructive one around here!
I love the hippo sound! It seems like a very exciting month around there!
Sal might need to get one of these–Barley won’t play with toys made out of that type of material unless it’s the only option, but Sal LOVES toys like that.
Hippo may be alive and well now…but for how long? π
That is the question! We wonder why Mr. Hippo has been granted more time than all the other toys around here. π
Thank goodness Hippo is alive and well. Looks like lots of fun.
That hippo is hysterical!! The noises it makes reminds me of the hippo scene in Bogie’s/Hepburn’s movie “The African Queen”. Ducky and Shadow both looked up from their sniffing the grass when the video first started! ????
Hippo must be similar to squeaky ball. A toy that is so very loved, it should have been dead long ago, but no…it is still alive and receiving dog love!
I hope so…it would be nice to see a toy get played with and live for a while too around here! π
Luke that hippo is a trooper :o) maybe you will keep it through october because it is so fabulous purple and fits to howl-o-ween?
Ah, maybe that’s the plan. We’ll see if on November 1st, all bets are off. π
Cute toy that my pups would love. Downside, it sounds just like my little Pekapoo’s cough π
Oh no! The first couple of times Luke started on it when I wasn’t looking, I have to admit it did startle me – because that’s exactly what it sounded like, a cough. I think it’s MultiPet that makes some farm toys that sound like the animals – maybe that would be better for your little one.
Thank you Jan!!
