I am sure you all understand how busy the holidays are, but I still feel bad that I haven’t had alot of time to spend on my blog lately. I have several new posts in the works, but I wanted to just stop and say Merry Christmas to all first. My husband and I spent the weekend with friends and family, and now all of that is over and we are spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day at home with our pets. We had such an enjoyable time but I am always happy to be back home with our furry children.
We will cook a nice dinner for ourselves for Christmas day and I think we will share with the pets this year. We don’t feed ours a lot of table scraps….mostly they just get a couple nibbles at the end and get to lick our plates. For this special occasion we will make an exception. Especially since the special treats I ordered online for Kobi have not arrived yet, and today is the last day that they might! The other dogs get some stuffed toys and a new ball (they get a new ball every Christmas whether they need one or not!). The cats will get some special freeze dried dinners, and some treats. I am not sure Kobi will forgive me if he doesn’t get his special treats (he has no interest in toys)! Can I fool him with treats already in the house….will he know the difference? I have already sent my hubby off to the grocery store for the makings for dinner, I hope I don’t have to send him back out later for treats! Our pre-Christmas has been a little rough this year….I am still recovering from my hand surgery, and hubby had a cold/flu. Luckily we both were recovered enough by this weekend to enjoy the festivities, and I think it will all be good from here! Moses had also been feeling a little under the weather, skipping some meals, but he is better now also, thank goodness.
I hope all of you and your families, human and animal, are happy and healthy and enjoying the holidays! Have a safe trip if you are traveling. Here are our sweeties in their Christmas bandanas….which is as dressed up as they get!
Merry Christ mas and a very happy, peaceful, & blessed new year to you and all your furry babies
