For our Monday Positive Pet Training post (Clicker Training – A Positive Experience – Putting Toys Away), I had taken three rounds of video of Luke trying to show off his new trick of picking up his toys, before I finally asked my hubby for help! Luke just didn’t seem to like me being distracted by taking video, and wanted me directing him more. I thought it would be fun to share some of the clips where he’s not doing so well, lest anyone think that this training stuff is easy! I hope you get some chuckles out of it too.
Now, if you haven’t seen his successful training video, please click on the link to the post above, and watch him doing much better at it!

That’s cute! But I think Luke has a point – if we’re training we expect 100% attention from you!
Bloopers or not, he is darned cute.
Lukes bloopers makes me continue to have hope as my guys are constant bloopers here in Doodleville.
I am so thankful you shared the outtakes. Because that first video was pretty darn intimidating. 🙂
It looked almost as if Luke didn’t want to do as good a job because he was hoping to coax you into putting the camera down.
I think you’re right….apparently I wasn’t playing the game right, or something! I guess he expects me to do my part of pointing out the toys, and of course, giving the rewards. 🙂
OMD so funny! Now that Taffy thinks its fun to take all of the toys out of the baskets like me I’m afraid mom is going to want us to learn how to do this next! Love Doll
Don’t worry if she does, Dolly….it really is fun to do this, not work!
Love, Luke
Appreciate the outtakes – you made it look so easy in the first one 😉
I love bloopers, thanks for sharing and the smiles.
Hehe. Cute! Love how he smiles at the camera!
It’s almost like he was performing that way on purpose! 🙂
The bloopers are the best part. I always have to bribe the bf to take photos/video because I can’t direct and shoot at the same time!
We all voted Luke and you won the Done Good award!
MOL! Well, at least Luke was trying. 😉
Haha, Bloopers are always fun to watch 🙂 Nice job practicing a new command with Luke!
They’re just so darn cute, how can you be mad when they don’t do what you ask? I love this video!
You cannot…it’s impossible….especially when they look at you that way! Thank you!
I love bloopers!!! they are the best aren’t they?!?!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
That is adorable. Luke did a great job even in your outtake video and the look he keeps giving you is precious. Good job Luke.
Great job, Luke ! We prefer to let Mum do the work, it’s so funny to see her crawling under the bed to catch our toys MOL ! Purrs
He’s getting it! Going to be an expert!
OMD! I would be so impressed if either of my boys even picked the toy up and managed to get close to the box! I love Luke! ♥
BOL it’s the effort that counts right
Snorts
Lily & Edward
It took a few trys but I think that was pretty awesome! Don’t see my dogs ever being able to master that!
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Good job Luke! I don’t think Mommy could ever teach us to pick up our toys 😉

Thanks for sharing, love the bloopers! It is nice to know my dogs aren’t the only ones who sometimes don’t do what I ask!
Whew! We are lucky we have our Mom to do the work around here. That looks like a tough job, there, Luke, but you are a master. Every dog has some off times.
