Lab mix Luke has a lot of jobs around our little farm. Chief Barker & Greeter, Garden Helper, Treat Taste Tester, and Kitchen Clean-Up Crew are just a few of them.

Recently he decided he wanted to take on a new role: Product Development. You might know that we sell my homemade Sugar Scrub in our online farm shop.

Luke had another idea along those lines. Snow Scrubs! Here he demonstrates the idea:
“Just scrub yourself all over in the snow….”

“When you’re done, just get up and…….”

“Just shake it off!! No rinsing needed!!”
Oh, Luke, it is such a good idea, and if only we could find a way to package it, we’d be rich!
“Look, Momz, we have a bumper crop this year!!”
Does your dog enjoy a good snow scrub? Would those of you in warm climates like to try some? π
This is not something either one of my dogs does. LOL Maybe they would if they were younger, they do love to do this on the rugs.
I’m surprised they don’t do it in the snow too then! Luke also does it on the rugs inside the house.
We never get snow but the boys enjoy a good roll in the grass! I would love your face scrub. I need to check out your store.
We hope you do!!
Yes, Luke does like to roll in the grass too. I’m not sure we’ll ever see ours again though. LOL
Hahaha I love your snow scrubs!!! And of course you have to be he chief treat tester!!
He thinks he has THE BEST jobs!
What’s the starting rate for Luke’s job? Asking for a friend. ~Bear Cat
Luke just wants your “friend” to know that there will be no access allowed to the chickens. π
Since we don’t get much snow, our pack stick to being carpet scrubbers π
Much to Luke’s dismay, we don’t have any carpets in our house! He does get a good scrub on the throw rugs when he can though. π
Luke is a hard worker. Although I think most dogs would be more than happy to do those jobs π
He says “it’s a tough job, but someone as to do it”. He’s happy it’s him. π
Great job, Luke, but it’s to cold for us to do that.
You need to have your mom link you to Awww Mondays. You’re a huge Awww.
Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your peeps. β₯
I’ll remind Mom about the Aww Mondays next time! She keeps forgetting! (and thank you)
Love, Luke
Good job Luke, but we will all pass on the snow scrub thing!
Aw, you kitties don’t know what you’re missing! BOL
That’s pawsitively adorable! Luke sure is a great business partner.
He’s the best! Just as we know Sam is too. β₯
Lol. He’s perfect for the job.
π
Our Black Dog adores a good snow scrub. He is picky about the snow quality though. It needs a crust that probably helps the snow be more abrasive. On some walks/runs when the snow is perfect, he stops many times to scratch his back and roll in the snow!
Great idea Luke! You do have a bumper crop!!!! We do too π
Yes, Luke says the crusty snow is definitely the best! He never does it when out on a walk though, I guess he’s too busy with other stuff. π
Ducky would join right in, and have a blast! When Shadow, Callie, and Kissy were young they loved snow scrubs too, but it didn’t shake off their furs as easily.
It definitely doesn’t work as well for long-haired dogs! We’d have to towel Sheba off. π
You have the bestest jobs, Luke! We were supposed to get snow overnight and today and instead we got sleet. yuk
There is nothing good about sleet! We’re going to get snow, then sleet, then rain tomorrow! We imagine you’ll probably just get rain at your place. π
no rinse needed? wow that is fantabulous what a clever invention Luke ;O)
Thank you!!!
Woofs, Luke
We use snow as a facial scrub sometimes if it is crunchy. Usually the snow just ends up as fluff all over our furs though. Enjoy your snow!
Oh, we bet the snow really sticks in your long furs!!
