By Cricket and Luke Keefe
Cricket: I peeked at the Momz’ blog work and see she is working on writing a post about how it might be a bit challenging working from home (not that she doesn’t love it!), in some ways.
Luke: Well, she doesn’t have time to be constantly playing your in, out, in, out game when she’s trying to crunch the numbers for her client!
Cricket: It also doesn’t help when you jump up on her lap and stick a ball in her face, Luke! Ahem, anyway, we’ll let her talk about that. We’re here to get a jump on her and tell our readers how much help we are around here! After all, where would Momz be without us giving her so much to write about on the blog?
Luke: Where would she be without us patrolling the yard to keep predators away from the chickens?
Cricket: Uh, maybe we don’t want to go there, Luke, since you are known for going after the guinea hens!
Luke: It gave her something to write about though (“One Step Forward, Two Steps Back”). Plus, um…I do bark at the squirrels, deer, foxes, bears, and other bad guys that come into the yard!
Cricket: OK, I’ll give you that, though I don’t think the deer or squirrels are going to bother the chickens. And where would Momz be without us to help her out in the kitchen when she’s baking dog cookies for the farm?

Luke: That’s right….we are the best clean-up crew ever!

Cricket: And taste testers! See, it says right there on the sign that all recipes are approved by us!
Cricket and Luke: Today we are here to tell you how thankful we are for those jobs! (It’s not our fault Momz’ bookkeeping work is boring…..she should bake more…..but we’ll let her tell you more about that later.)
Tell us, our doggy and kitty friends, do you have a job too?
We are also thankful to our friends at Brian’s Home for hosting this great Thankful Thursday blog hop! Please visit other blogs through the links below!
Hi, Jan. Luke and cricket have done an excellent job!! They are looking adorable and friendly too.
Awe cricket I’m going to so miss you so much!!! Loved you!!!
♥♥♥
You’re baking and selling dog treats? Fantastic!!!!
Well, it’s pretty small scale, not super profitable yet, but it’s fun!
Shadow is retired, like us humans – her only “job” is to keep us humans and Ducky company at home. And to help Ducky lick out our ice cream bowls when we’re done. Ducky’s job is to keep us humans slim and trim. And considering how many times a day she wants to go out in the yard, she’s been doing a really good job! (Sound familiar, Cricket?)
You guys are pawsome assistants. In fact, I think you are definitely management material. 😊
Yes we can see how it might be a challenge, but we think having you two around would outweigh any difficulties.
Sounds like you two are a lot of help when your mom works from home!
Cricket, you need to remind the Momz that it is important to get up from her desk regularly. It will keep her from getting stiff, make her healthier, and probably help her concentration. It’s a good thing you like going in and out so much for HER sake.
I think the mama can sell the dishwasher, I’m quasi the paw-petuum mobile on four legs…
Who needs a dishwasher when you have a dog?
Ha, love you two, keep up the good work helping Momz! Except Luke, no more guinea shenanigans, enough good work keeping other things out!
Working from home can be a challenge due to the constant interruptions but the dog breaks are worth it! LOL!
If more people had that at the office, they’d enjoy their jobs more, right? 🙂
We think you two are gonna be great help for your mom while she works from home. Are you gonna ask for pay??
Sounds like you are experts at that job 🙂
You keep her entertained
You two are wonderful helpers and I’m glad you are helping with the clean up! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
