We had a rare April thunderstorm roll through the other day. I ran to get the herbal Calming Collars (our review is still coming soon!) to see if they would help, since none of the dogs are fans of storms. However, by the time I got the collars on them the thunder was mostly gone by. The girls ended up like this.
By the way, this morning we had snow on the ground. I’d say we’re officially on the spring weather roller coaster this year. The peeper frogs are singing though, so we know spring will soon win out over Old Man Winter!

Such a sweet picture! We heard booms that woke us up last night! Mom tries to get my Thundershirt on before the storm gets here so I’m not afraid of the shirt, but I am. Love Dolly
I swear most of the storms come after we’ve gone to bed, and I’m too lazy to get up and put anything on the dogs! Even during the day, it’s hard to know the storm is coming and time it right. Our golden Moses could hear the storm coming long before we did! Nothing ever worked for him either.
They sure look calm and sweet!
What a sweet photo.
Oh well, looks like the girls had a nice Sunday nap anyway!
Love & biscuits,

Spring is mostly here. We might break some heat records!
Lucky you…we’re getting record cold tonight! 🙁
Spring is always up and down. We had 80 degrees at our trial in IA yesterday, and when we got home it was 43. Go figure!
Cute snugglies! Surprised Karen didn’t wake up to snow, I did-well, it was snowing out for sure, but not covering the ground much. Then it was sunny most of the day, but SO cold, especially with that wind! Lost power for awhile! But, Jan, are you really hearing peepers??? I have not!
Well, they’ve gone quiet now! But yes, we started hearing them here on Thursday, though Tom had heard them other places on Wednesday. Sorry you lost power! When is your generator going to be operating?
We had snow yesterday too. Someone needs to tell Mother Nature it’s spring!
Apparently she never got the memo. 🙂
So sweet that they are sleeping together like this. That must feel comforting when scary storms are around. Cocoa does not seem to mind thunder or lightning. She thinks something is happening and want to investigate!!
Wow your still getting the white fluffy stuff. We is sweating down here 😉 Mama says she can’t wait fur your calming collar review cause I is a big scaredy cat when the big booms come.
xoxo,
Matt
Awe!! They are so sweet! Zoe and Phoenix don’t like thunderstorms either!
We are still having nice weather temperatures but I know those triple digits are coming. We are taking advantage of the cool mornings now.
I so look forward to the time when we have to walk in the early morning to avoid the heat!
Hang in there…peepers are never wrong.
They are not, but they’ve been silenced by cold and snow the last couple of days!
Cute snuggles!
Awwww! This sweet picture reminds me so much of Callie and Shadow snuggle times! ????????????????
Sweet girls, love them snuggling together. Snow? I thought we might wake up to some, but we didn’t. Looking forward to your review of the calming collars.
How about yesterday? We ended up with a couple of inches by the end of the day. At least the sunny areas melted today!
I love seeing them snuggled up together. We had some crazy weather, too–wind gusts of up to 50 mph last night and being so close to the lake seems to make the wind even louder, and now we have a layer of snow and ice on the ground, too. It seems impossible that it was just 70 degrees last weekend!
It’s just impossible to keep up from one day to the next, isn’t it? I had to get out my flannel lined jeans and heavy mittens again to go outside today!
Hmm, looks like they hunkered down during the storm. I sure hope Spring sticks around for good soon
Glad the storm was short-lived. We are dealing with unseasonably cold. It was -4F this morning . . . . . We think the weather is broken.
Oh, we agree….the weather is definitely broken!
they are tooooo cute… bet they talk about the boys, hair styles and shoes :o)
