It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen all three of the K9 Crew lying on the couch together. The couch is prime real estate around here, and usually the first one there claims it as their own. If anyone else tries to join them, growling and snarling will commence.
That’s why I’m convinced they know Santa is coming and this happened the other night. Cricket was up there first, then Sheba joined, and then Luke. Usually little brother is the one that is definitely not allowed, so this was really something.
Let’s hope they keep up this good cheer and nice sharing right into the new year!

Such a cute picture! It will be interesting to see if Rye is ever allowed on our furniture! It took a long time before Soth allowed Barley on any of it. He’ll tolerate Rye on his furniture, but I don’t know if Barley ever will–maybe one day we’ll have a sweet picture like this, too!
When I read back to when we first got Luke, there was a time I thought the rest of the crew would never accept him! Even though they still have their moments – Cricket won’t always let him share the couch – at least they have some good ones like this. So there’s hope for Barley and Rye, and I’ll be watching for that picture someday!
There all trying to be very very nice.
LOL they are making sure Santa does not pass them by (as if that would happen).
Yep – sounds like my house! Merry Christmas my friend!
Merry Christmas to you and your boys, Cathy! xo
How nice that they’re sharing. Sheba looks like she’s living on the edge.
I think she enjoys that! 🙂
Being good like that should definitely get you all some extra presents.
They sure think so! 🙂
That is a most wonderful photo!
I sure hope that Santa was watching. Bentley and Pierre share our loveseat but if Bentley is asleep, Pierre is hesitant to jump up there. Bentley doesn’t like being startled awake and he grumps.
Again….a hound dog thing? Cricket is the worst one for grumping if anyone tries to join her. That’s why I couldn’t believe she let both of them up there! She must have been tired from all the ball playing lately, and didn’t have the energy to argue. 🙂
Aww, that’s sweet.
Peace on earth…the rest of the world would do well to take heed. Love it!
Aw, what good pups! Santa will be good to them.
Since Ducky started getting snarky with Shadow again, I’ve been banning her from the couch so that Shadow has at least one piece of human furniture she can find some comfort on…it’s hard for her to get up in our recliners these days, and the beds…and claim as her own.
Since they all do it, it’s hard to ban any of them from the couch! Luke only does it if I’m sitting there as well, but both Cricket and Sheba will snark at Luke sometimes when he tries to join them. I swear they’re just like human siblings…you just never know.
I’m sure they know that Santa sees everything…. and I hope santa has seen this post and he comes with the big truck this year :o)
They’ll all be watching out the window this weekend! 🙂
They all want to be on Santa’s nice list! Merry Christmas to you all and best wishes for 2017.
Aww … they look snug and content!
Awww! They are growing up and learning they can share.
Aw…miracles do happen around Christmas time 😉
They look like quite the happy and cozy bunch!
Nice you captured this special (and rare) moment forever – it’s sweet……………The spirit of Christmas has come to the couch!
Love, Angel Sammy
