Sheba, Moses, and Cricket’s favorite way to stay fit is to play frisbee and ball. We have a large fenced in yard which makes this easy for us to play safely. When the weather warms up we get out their kiddie pool to help keep them cool while playing. Today I am just going to share some action photos of them having fun in the sun!

These games go on almost every day through the end of Fall (they still play in the Winter but not quite as often). They will play for at least 1/2 hour to an hour daily, sometimes longer. We might take a day off once Summer is here and the weather is really hot, if we can’t play early in the morning when it’s cooler. The dogs are all getting older now, they will all be 9 this Fall, so occasionally they decide to take a day off themselves, especially if they’ve had a long play time the previous day!
Even though we’re a day late, we are participating in the FitDog Friday blog hop. Thank you to SlimDoggy, Peggy’s Pet Place, and To Dog With Love for hosting this wonderful blog hop to encourage everyone to keep their dogs (and themselves) healthy through exercise and proper diet. Please follow the links below to check out all the participants.
I almost had as much fun as them just looking at the photos! This is a great fit dog(s) chronicle. Thanks!
You’re welcome! And thank you for stopping by, so glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, looks like everyone is having a great time!! I love all of it, the running around, the cooling off! Perfect fit day activities!
Thanks, Finn, it really is a lot of fun for them, and we really enjoy watching them too!
They don’t seem to understand or obey the laws of gravity.
Can’t tell those darn dogs anything….they live by their own rules! 🙂
Hey, better late than never! Looks like lots of fun in your yard, happy pups!
Thanks, I seem to be a day late all the time lately! 🙂
They do have fun!
Nice backyard doggie gym you’ve got there…dogs don’t need very much to have fun do they…not like us with all our expensive “fitness gear”…a yard, a frisbee and a wading pool – so simple
We probably should learn from dogs to simplify our lives more! It did take us a while to find that kiddie pool though….it has a plug in it to drain it, which is much more convenient than the plastic kiddie pools!
the pictures are awesome, it’s so great they all play together, I love that little Cricket is right in there and not intimidated by her bigger brother and sister, and that they let her win in the end (i’m sure they think they are letting her)
Thanks, K! I do love that they all play together, and had never really thought of a little beagle playing fetch so much, before we got Cricket (Kobi certainly never had any interest).
It looks like they have a lot of fun together. I love the shot of the three of them all airborne after that frisbee. Running around and playing like this is great exercise. I’m glad they know enough to take a day off once in awhile at their age.
They do have fun, and it keeps us outdoors and moving too. Occasionally we get an injury though. Mostly Sheba as you can imagine, the way she jumps! So if it’s not bad we take the injured one on easy walks, and one of us stays home to play with the others.
