Regular readers may remember last winter when we reviewed the gorgeous handmade crosses for our pet memorial garden from Cades & Birch. When business owner Lisa contacted us to do another review I did not hesitate to say yes. We still enjoy those crosses every time we look out our window and see them or walk by our garden.

The tough part was figuring out which product to have handmade from Cades & Birch this time! When I waffled between two items, that’s when Lisa kindly offered to also make me a marker for our angel cat Samantha. She preferred I review the personalized wooden Pet Treat Storage box with lock, my other choice, because the personally engraved wood products are their specialty.
They go far beyond simply pet products, with many custom crafted gifts, home décor, and much more. What makes her products so special is that each is handmade and can be completely customized to your liking. While most people might choose to have their pets’ name on this treat box, I wanted to have our farm name so I could use it especially to store my own homemade treats that I don’t sell and save for Luke, and for any future dogs that might join our family.
I also wanted to be able to change the 4 x 6 photo which is easily inserted from the inside of the box, and protected with a piece of acrylic plexiglass. I’d like to vary photos by season, and right now I have this photo of Luke, taken last fall, sitting down by our garden, with our farm and home in the background. I think it’s perfect, and I already know which winter photo I’m going to put in there next. However, you can also have a photo printed on wood for just a little extra money.

You can see also see in the photo above the other stain available for this treat box, light walnut. I chose the grey stain because it fits in better with my household décor, but both are pretty, I think. The wood used is pine. I love the smell of fresh wood, and whenever I open a package from Cades and Birch, that’s the first thing I smell! It just accentuates the fact that this is handmade with natural materials, and the personalization makes it unique and completely your own.
I think their products are priced quite reasonably, and I feel confident that they will pretty much last a lifetime. There is nothing chintzy here, everything is solid and put together well. The lock and key is a cute addition as well!

Some very beautiful items in their shop. I like the wrought iron memorial. Thanks for sharing this shop.
I’m glad you saw some things you liked! They really do very nice work.
Amazing stuff! I think Luke just realized he’s a star with his photo on that box!
I think you’re right, and he definitely is! ♥
Oh I love the small personalized feeder stands, I might have to get that for Nina!! Love a lot of the ornaments too! Lovely post, and your treat box is awesome! Cades & Birch seem wonderful!
I really liked the feeder stands as well!
I really like the Wrought Iron Pet Memorial Garden Stake. I could see it in a little garden where my furkid Kota is buried and put some wild flowers around it.
I think that would look beautiful!!
That is a nice box. Great giveaway.
That treat box is adorable!
Wonderful doggie products ~ favorite is the photo frame ~ ^_^
Happy Day to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I love the personalized photo frames as well!
Pawsome stuff. I really like the purrsonalized feeding area. I think if I had one of these with my name on it, the rest of The Tribe would stop eating my food!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver
Oh, that’s a very good idea, Oliver!! 🙂
Those are incredible! What a great idea – much better than having ugly treat bags hanging around.
It’s much nicer than the wire and plastic baskets I have in my pantry!
I would love to have the Personalized Pet Memory Box/Urn with Photo – Dog Memorial. I have lost 3 of my dogs in the past 5 years and would love to have one.
I’m so sorry for your losses, Cheryl, and I hope you can get something special to remember them with. ♥
That really is pretty, they obviously put a lot of love in what they do.
They definitely do!
I love the treat box – it’s great! Especially with Luke’s photo in it!
I still have to order the memory boxes for Callie and Shadow and for Kissy. But I might order a treat box as well, or just wait until I see if I win the free item. I love the C&B stuff!!
I almost went with a memory box…it was a tough decision!
Very beautiful. And having Luke pose is even better. Tell your mom to link this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a woof woof day, Luke. My best to your mom. ♥
Luke is chief spokesdog for all products around here!!
I love all of their products but I’d get one of the signs for our house and a couple of ornaments.
That would look lovely on your new house!
What beautiful boxes and perfect as a memory or treat box. So many wonderful products, I would love a memory box for Dory’s mementos.
That would be so special! ♥
They’re all nice but I would have to say my favorite Pet Product is the Personalized Pet Memorial Cross with Photo.
I lost my cat Tigger almost 4 years ago and the only things I have to remember her by are photos, memories and I got a solar Butterfly to mark her grave. I haven’t found a suitable wall memorial wall hanging until I saw this for your giveaway. It’s perfect.
Please enter me. Hope I win.
The crosses are really SO beautiful. I hope you can get something nice for Tigger’s grave if you win.
wonderful review and Lisa is a complete gem to work with and as a person. Not entering because we also have a leash holder from them, but whomever wins is going to be extremely happy!
They sure are, and yes, Lisa is sweet and great to work with.
The treat box is my favorite. THey do have great items in their shop.
I just love that you can get it personalized any way you want.
That’s a very cool box. I love the Cades & Birch website and just received a leash holder from them. Outstanding products and Lisa is the best to work with!
Agreed, and so glad to hear you got the leash holder – that’s a great product.
Love the treat box and the lock and key keeps your treats safe, Luke!
That’s a very important feature!
Love, Luke
that treat box is the bestest treasure chest ever!
Luke sure thinks so!! 🙂
We love Cades & Birch and love our boxes as memory boxes. They have great products.
Originally I was going to get a memory box, but just couldn’t narrow it down to which pet(s) it would be for. I still might get one someday!
Everything looked nice but the Treat Box would be our choice. We love treats!!! and we could all share it.
It’s nice to have something that everyone can enjoy! 🙂
