This week’s theme for the #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge is “Framed”. I decided to keep things simple this week! I chose this photo partly because it’s one of the first ones I took with my new Nikon D5500 camera. I didn’t even really know what I was doing yet and just snapped off a few shots with the auto settings. This camera seems to take much better indoor photos, without flash, than my old Pentax did.
I also thought it fit the theme because Luke is kind of framed by the chair around him, and the tree outside is framed by the window. Plus, I just love the look on Luke’s face and his crossed paws. Of course, I had to add a frame, and I used PicMonkey for that.

It’s a lovely photo. Congrats on the new camera!
Love the crossed paws!! Shadow has been a paws crosser since she was a puppy, and I’ve always thought it to be so cute. And lady-like. But Luke’s not a lady so now what do I call it? 🙂
I love the chair! The print on the fabric is so apropos for New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine!
I was trying to think of what you could call it for Luke too, but I couldn’t come up with anything! 🙂
Wow, that is a fabulous shot especially for not even trying! I’m turning green w/ envy. Indoor lighting is the most difficult for me, I struggle so much with it. You really must Fame It! It’s so beautiful.

What a great photo! Love those crossed paws 🙂
That’s just beautiful – you could frame this or make a nice greeting card out of it.
WOOF
Oh, thank you! You have me thinking about that now! It would make a nice autumn greeting card I think.
Nice pic – and nice execution of the assigned word! (I love PicMonkey!)
Love that pic!! 😀
That’s a great shot. And the colors are very fall-like.
Very nice photo and frame.
Looks so comfy and cozy, I could curl up beside you!!!
Sweet boy!
Love the woodsy cushion in back! And Luke’s sweet-face, paws-crossed pose.
The crossed paws get me every time 🙂
Perfect

Luke looks so comfy and I love that chair!
It’s a great picture of Luke and we like the interpretation of “framed!” Love Dolly
That’s a gorgeous image! I love the warm colors of the chair and the photo is exposed perfectly.
Aww, he looks like he is in such deep thought here!

What a great shot, looks so comfy!
Luke looks so comfy – does he hang out in that chair often? He’s in it like he owns it! 🙂
He does love that chair! He actually has a thing for chairs like that…I think he feels secure being enclosed on 3 sides. 🙂
That is an awesome fall, cabin feeling shot! Nice job!
Nice photo. I think they improve cameras all the time. Your new camera takes nice photos.
I’m at least glad to be finding out my previous sometimes lousy photos weren’t totally operator error. LOL
efurry artpiece deserved a cool frame… and you are such an artpiece Luke …a precious one :o)
Thank you, Easy, you are so sweet! ♥
