It seems Luke and I are not the only ones happy about the warmer weather we’d been having! There were wild turkey and deer tracks everywhere on our walk this past Sunday.

We had another small snow storm, about 4 inches, that night, and then the temperatures dropped again. Luke and I have still been out walking, since we’ve had sunny days at least. But the wildlife seems to be hunkered down again for a bit; we haven’t seen any fresh tracks yet. I’m sure they’ll be back out once we warm up again this weekend!

You can tell us Luke we won’t tell your Mama π Glad you had some sunny days fur walkies!
xoxo,
Matt & Matilda
Thanks! We’ve been enjoying them. Psssttt….come here, I’ll tell you (it was turkeys).
Love, Luke
It’s fun to investigate who’s been walking through your yard. We’ve seen muskrats, raccoons, coyotes, deer and geese in ours.
You have got a great new place there, with so much wildlife!
Yay for walks! We are seeing the sun starting to peak out a bit more here too…but today seems to be more rain than sun. Come on Spring!
We’re glad you’ve at least had some breaks in the rain here and there! We finally feel like spring might really be coming – we’re supposed to have several days of above freezing temperatures this week.
That is a lot of tracks. We have many turkeys at our bird feeder lately.
They are so funny looking, aren’t they? Almost prehistoric, especially when they run!
Looks like a fun and interesting walk – now go inside and get warm!
Don’t you worry, we sure did!! π
I saw some deer out on our walk yesterday. It was the first time in a while, I always wonder where they hunker down in those storms!
Stay warm~~
I know, I always wonder that too.
You would laugh so hard if you were down south for a snowstorm. Four inches would paralyze our cities and be remembered at the great blizzard of 2019. Hahahah!
We can just imagine!! π
Excellent, warm weather is the best!
It’s such a relief!!
Good for you and Luke getting some out n’ about time, that would not work well for us!
You kitties would disappear in all that snow!
I’m so glad that all of you, including the turkey and deer, are able to be out and about! Have fun!
I think everyone has been relieved to finally be able to move around more!
I am glad we don’t get snow, but it does look lovely.
It’s beauty is it’s finest feature. π
They’ll be back? They’re probably buried in all that snow! π€£
Hahaha, that was a good one!!!
It’s good you have Luke to investigate all those tracks. That’s a lot of snow. We don’t get snow here, but it’s been cold and we’ve had storm after storm. It’s raining and the wind is blowing this morning. Sigh.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Luke. My best to your mom. β₯
We got another snowstorm yesterday, but at least we’ve finally gotten a break from the bitter cold. Spring may really be coming!
it#s great to be a dog who can see with his nose ;O)
It sure is!!
Good smells around I bet.
Even when the big wildlife hasn’t been through, there’s been little things around!
There is always good stuff to sniff in the snow, right, Luke!
There sure is!! Humans don’t think we can smell stuff when it’s under the snow, but we sure can!!
Good to hear you are getting out more. We are glad we live where there are plowed trails so we can always be out walking. Enjoy all the tracking opportunities!
If only we could get the Dadz to plow us some trails!! We’re lucky if we can get him to do the driveway. BOL
