Now what did Luke get into when we weren’t paying attention? He was like a ninja dog this time….usually I hear him getting into things, but I was shocked when I came out of my office to find this. He wasn’t even there when I came out….he was innocently lying on the futon on the porch with Dad!
If the title didn’t give it away, the other hint is that Luke has been seen with this item (that time it was intact) in a recent Monday Mischief post. Do you know what it is?

Oh no, I don’t know!
One potato, two potato! Yes, it’s a potato, and it was a raw one to boot!
I think Luke was trying to make snow for Christmas decorations!
Oh, and here we thought he was just making a mess….he was really trying to help!!
Hey Luke,,,,,The stuff we’re not supposed to have always tastes better than the stuff we can have,,,,right ?
You got that right, Jack!!
Looks like you are enjoying your mess! Hope it wasn’t too much trouble to clean up and that you didn’t get in trouble for it!
Naw, Mom and Dad were too busy laughing and shaking their heads to be mad. It cleaned up pretty easily too.
Are they potato chips? Whatever it is, it looks like Luke’s favorite.
No, it was a whole raw potato to start with, but I think he made it into potato chips! LOL
Maybe Luke needs a bell!
Now that’s a good idea!!
Well it could be worse. When I caught Honey in the act of chewing something she wasn’t supposed to, she’d swallow it whole.
The dead pigeon was bad enough. But the squeaky toy led to a hospital stay.
Just keep telling yourself that someday Luke will be a mature boy and you’ll miss these adolescent shenanigans. 🙂
When Luke was at the vet’s all day yesterday, it was SO quiet around here. You think I would have enjoyed the peace, but I really didn’t!
I do have to be careful with him when he has something he shouldn’t, because he’s likely to swallow it if I can’t come up with a more attractive trade quickly enough.
I was going to say “fish,” but “potato” looks more like it! Oh gosh, I can’t wait until I have another golden food opportunity like that! *wags*
MMMM….fish….now I might have eaten all of that! Raw potato isn’t as good as it sounds, but if was fun to chew it into pieces. Mom underestimates how long my paws are, so there is sure to be something else soon enough!
Love, Luke
Oh potato confetti, you are very creative Luke… or is it a jigsaw for your mom?
Mom didn’t go for it, so I guess we’ll have to say confetti. 🙂
Oh NO!!! Who cleaned it up 🙂 Golden Woofs
Dad did, with a little help from Luke who ate a few pieces!
Oh My Doodle! What was all broken up into little pieces?
That was a potato!!! And a raw one at that!
These labs I swear they are part Ninja. Delilah can get something right in front of your nose and you don’t even see it!
Is he eating it? Why is it all broken up into tiny pieces?
Yes, Ninja, that’s what I always say!
Apparently he did chew it into pieces, and he did come back and eat a little bit. I guess it didn’t taste as good as he was hoping. LOL
Oh man the clean up crew better get on that!
They certainly did! Luke helped out by coming back and eating a few pieces. 🙂
BOL! One potato, two potato…but why, Luke…WHY? Why white potato when sweet potato is so much better?!?
Oz
That’s all that was available!! Mom and Dad don’t eat sweet potatoes. 🙁 You’ll notice I didn’t really eat much of it.
Love, Luke
We like Luke’s approach, it’s one we often use too! Happy WW from Belinha, Moleque & Nina
You dogs have to stick together, don’t you?
Nom, nom nom Luke and Gman are having a contest who can be the naughtiest.
I think they’ve both earned their ribbons for sure. 🙂
Potato!!! I remember Luke had a potato!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
You got it!! Good job!
Its when you notice the quiet that there’s going to be a mess! Love Dolly
You’ve got that right, Dolly! I should have known it was too peaceful out there!
Never a dull moment with a puppy in the house…even a teenage puppy.
I forget how long it takes them to really grow up? Longer than I’m hoping, I’m sure. LOL
Uh Oh, trouble again. LOL
This is becoming a habit for him! 🙂
Oh, it would be really boring without doing something 😀
So true!! But a little boredom every once in a while never killed anyone….LOL.
Welcome to the teenager club, Luke. Bailie was such a good puppy, but now, five minutes without Mom checking on her and she is always into something!
It’s especially worrisome when they suddenly get quiet….then you know they’re up to no good!
