We’ve never been big about Valentine’s Day around here. Let’s just say we believe in loving each other and showing it every day, and I’ll spare you my cynical thoughts on this holiday! Since losing our beagle Kobi three years ago yesterday, it now always just makes me think of him. I considered sharing a throwback post around him, except I never wrote any Valentine’s posts before now. Though I did write a tribute to him on the first anniversary of his death “Missing Our Valentine“. However, I recalled some Valentine’s photos a blog friend had put together for me once. Back in 2013 Ann from Pawsitively Pets held a fundraiser where she made a valentine of your pet you could purchase and the money went to a good cause.
I dug out those photos to put together for this post. The first collage I put together is of our “Rainbow Bridge Crew”.

The second is of the current crew, and I had to do my own card for Luke since he was the only one who wasn’t with us back when Ann made the originals. I found an older photo of him (fall of 2014) to make it a throwback as well. My blog was pretty young back in 2013, so Ann didn’t really have high quality photos to work with; but I wanted to keep the originals, such as they were, for this.

Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or you’re cynical like I am, we hope you have a happy day filled with love from your pets!
Awe, great memories!
Such cute cards! I definitely believe in showing people I love them all year round, but I will NEVER complain about a holiday that encourages me to eat a little extra chocolate 😉 Happy Valentine’s Day from my menagerie to your crew!
Too true – guilt-free chocolate is definitely a bonus! 🙂
Happy Valentines Day. What could be bad about a holiday that involves chocolate? lol. Those are great cards.
ALL holidays should involve chocolate, shouldn’t they? 🙂
I’m more on the cynical side, too 😉 I enjoy treating my pups, my human loved ones & myself whenever I feel like it, and not when a commercial holiday tells me to. Have a great day surrounded by your (fur)family!
You hit the nail on the head, Barbara! I feel that way about a lot of holidays!
Same here 🙂
Beautiful memories. We agree…love should be shown every day. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all.
Precious. Us too, every day is LOVE in our house. Happy Valentine’s Day <3 Lots of Golden LOVE and Woofs, SUGAR the Golden Retriever
It’s not a real big deal around here either. We all get lots of love every day! Happy Valentine’s Day nevertheless!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and the entire Wag n Woof crew ♥
We do love love each and every day! Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us!
Happy Valentines Day!
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
A long time cynic, I still wish you a day filled with kitty love and puppy kisses. Happy V-Day❣️
I’m generally cynical about Valentine’s Day too, but who can resist a valentine with such precious pets in it? I love the throwbacks!
I’m like you, Jan – cynical about Valentines Day. And I’ll spare you as well – but my sweet pups have always had a special place of their own in my heart (and always will).
I love the photos of all the pups…very sweet. And Precious Sheba. I always called Callie “my precious girl.” It’s surreal how these similarities keep popping up but I love it.
I hope you all have a great day!
It just makes you know that Sheba and Callie must be best girlfriends up at the Bridge. ♥
No doubt about it! ❤
every day with our furkids is a day full of love… forever…
Precious memories! Have a lovely day.
