Sheba was very happy to come home yesterday, and we are very relieved and happy to have her back as well! If you missed what is going on with her, you can read my original post by clicking here, and the follow up here.
She’s doing well. The area where the drain came out yesterday was still leaking a bit for a while, as they told us it would, but that had stopped by last evening. So far so good! Her siblings have been very good with her so far too. Her stitches come out in 10 days. The first thing she did when we got her home was to pick up a ball! I’m sure she won’t be happy to have to stay quiet until the stitches come out, but we’re going to try to get her out for some short walks when we can.

She really looks good!
She’s a little quieter than usual sometimes, but overall she seems to feel great.
sheba I so agree with you. take good care of that stitches and I will keep you in my thoughts when that stitches come out. Big hugs (but I’m careful, of course) for you, I’m glad you are back at home… the best place ever, right?
Home IS the best place ever. Thanks for thinking of us when you are having your own tough times, Easy. We are thinking of your Mom as well and send you all careful hugs too! xxoo Love, Sheba
She looks happy to be home, and your writing sounds happy! Glad the family unit is back together again!
We are all definitely feeling better now that she’s home!
She sure looks happy!! Glad she is home and feeling better, I bet that makes you feel better too!
It is SUCH a relief to have her home. I worry about the healing though, and the diagnosis as well. I feel optimistic about both but still….
Right now the fact that she is feeling pretty good is the most important thing though (her arthritis is bothering her a bit but we’re getting that better).
Yay! Such a happy golden smile! Hope her recovery continues to go well!
Paws crossed she keeps having every reason to be happy!
So happy your home sweet Sheba!

I’m glad your girl is back home ~ even if they’re gone for a short amount of time, we can’ help but miss them dearly, right? Sending lots of positive thoughts & healing energy your & her way!
She wasn’t that far away either….less than 5 miles, but that didn’t make us miss her any less! Thank you for the thoughts and healing energy….we need all we can get.
Welcome home Sheba! Good luck with the recovery and stay safe/ take it easy! *wags* – Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com
Thank you, Gilligan!! She’s trying to stay quiet and keep the recovery going! 🙂

Thank you so much!! xo
Lovely picture. Glad all is going well.
Thank you…so far, so good!
That’s definitely a happy face! So glad you’re all together under the same roof again! Hope the 10 days without being able to play with her ball fly by!
Hopefully just being home will keep her happy for a few more days….she’s being pretty good about it, considering how much she loves to play.
Welcome home Sheba! So glad to see your happy face, please take it easy so you don’t worry your mom. Love Dolly
Thank you, Dolly, I will do my best….but it’s not easy!
Love, Sheba
so glad you are home, Sheba, stay quiet like mom and dad tell you to, and you’ll be back at it in no time.
She’s doing her best, Auntie Karen, and thank you!
Yay, Sheba!! I am sure it is super great to be back home with your family! I hope you heal up 100% nice and quick!
Oz
Emphasis on the quick, because she does not like not being able to play ball! 🙂
Thank you, Oz!
Sheba, We are so glad that you are feeling good and have had a healthy recovery. Once you get those stitches out, you will be feeling in tip top shape!
Thank you…..I sure can’t wait for that!!
Love, Sheba
Soooo glad your sweet Sheba is back home! She looks wonderful – and happy!! It’s so difficult to keep our Golden Girls quiet when all they want to do is be themselves and play, play, play!!!
Callie is completely off her restrictions now and enjoying romps in the yard with her sisters. But when she’s tired, she just sits and watches them for a while. There’s a post in there somewhere! 🙂
Thank you! Oh, I don’t know how you survived the long recovery Callie had. I’m not sure I’m going to make it through the next week. All of the snow doesn’t help, Sheba just wants to be outside in it! Yesterday she was quieter but when I got home from work today, it was impossible to keep her still! Hopefully that means she’s feeling better, so at least that’s a good thing. 🙂
She looks great! 🙂 so happy for her & you guys!
Thanks, Sheryl!! 🙂
