When Mom started blogging, one thing we didn’t realize would happen is that we would win prizes! Blogs have lots of giveaways, and even though Mom is not usually very lucky at winning stuff, we got really lucky lately! We won two times!
First: The very nice Miss Ann from Pawsitively Pets had a giveaway of Kong treats recently. Her dog Shiner loves the new Kong treats, so Mom thought we might love them too, and all she had to do was use the Rafflecopter to enter. So easy! We were so excited to find out we won! That’s why Mom let me write this post, because I was the most excited. I’m an older guy and pretty calm, but one thing that really gets me excited is TREATS!
All of Blogville has been writing about Kong treats lately, and I’m pretty sure everyone loves them, so we couldn’t wait to try them! Mom wanted to make us wait until Dad could help us with some photos but we got impatient. That is why the bags are already opened when Mom took this photo:
We won these two different kinds. Mom already knew ahead of time, but these are her favorite things about these treats:
Mom only lets us have treats made in the USA, and that are made from all natural ingredients. Miss Ann also sent along this nice information sheet which tells about all the Kong treats:
.
Silly Mom didn’t read the packages until after she opened them though. The dental chews we got were for smaller dogs…the package says “For dogs over 6 months old and up to 20 pounds. Always feed the correct size Chew for your dog’s weight.” Huh….we are all well over 20 pounds! Dad says Mom reads too much, and we agree, but she was only thinking of our safety so we didn’t get to try the dental chews. We are going to give them to a friend of ours who has little dogs. So here we are when Mom got out the Thick Cut Jerky treats and Dad took some photos. It would be putting it mildly to say that we LOVE them!!

Yes, Mommy does make us sit for treats. But sometimes we two beagles get worried because those Golden Retrievers are taller than us and can get closer than we can!
We definitely give these treats FIVE STARS (OUT of 5)!!
Second: Now, if you look closely at the Mom in these photos you get a preview of the other prize we won! This one was for Mom, which she deserves because she does all the difficult writing, typing, and photography for our blog! We have been participating in some of the FitDog Friday blog hops hosted by SlimDoggy, Peggy’s Pet Place, and To Dog With Love. They give out prizes for participating, and Mom won this really cool t-shirt!!

We love SlimDoggy Jack’s logo and catchphrase! So we just wanted to say a huge thanks to Pawsitively Pets and SlimDoggy for our really cool prizes, we are really enjoying them!!
So happy to hear you enjoyed the KONG Treats! Sorry for the size mix up … Next time we will be sure to send the right ones! Thought you might want to see our most recent Facebook post on the KONG Treats Page featuring Wag ‘N Woof Pets! Thank you again for trying KONG Treats 🙂

No problem! They really did woof down the chews, and are sending Mom on a mission to find more soon. Thanks for sharing us on Facebook, that was fun to see!
Woot woot!! So glad you won the prizes. We have some of those treats at home (they came in our BlogPaws Swag bag) and I didn’t even think to look at the dental chews to see what size dog should have it! Oh My!! I did give them each one, BUT we were monitoring them closely!! I’m so glad I read this post!
Enjoy the treats you can have.
I know, at first I didn’t read the “fine print” and didn’t realize that they came in different sizes. It’s always safe to monitor the dogs closely, especially when they are trying something new.
The dogs are telling me I need to go to BlogPaws so I can bring them home even more new treats to try! 🙂
I love that t-shirt!! That motto is fantastic! I’ve done the same thing with properly-sized treats before, too… I bought a box of dental bones, and after I opened the box I noticed it said for dogs up to 25 pounds. Oops! Like you, I didn’t feel comfortable giving them to my guys, so they were passed along to a friend!
Sometimes when I’m shopping, I’m in a rush, and don’t read things thoroughly. Then I get them home and read them and realize I screwed up! Oh well, someone else makes out when we have to pass them on. Kobi can’t have long lasting chews anyway, because he can get a little snarly if anyone gets too close when he has one.
Love the pics, info, and the fact that you won these great treats, Jan-and I mean Kobi too, nice blog, Kobi Keefe!! But that t-shirt is awesome, I love that logo saying, perfect rhyming, so clever!
I know, it’s just so cute, isn’t it? I love the dog in the workout gear!
How cool that you all got great prizes! 🙂 You lucky dogs (and human!) 🙂
Wags to all,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Thanks, Snoopy!! Prizes are fun, aren’t they? 🙂
Glad you liked the treats guys! Too bad they sent the small size of dental chews, but sharing is nice anyways 🙂 Hope your doggy friends like them as much as you did. And I love the SlimDoggy shirt too!
Yup, sharing is always good, and I’m sure our friends will enjoy the treats too!
Awesome treats and very cool t-shirt!!! I love it. Does Slim Doggy sell them? I have to inquire.
Thanks, Finn! Yes, you can see in the other comments that SlimDoggy does sell them! You should definitely get one, it is really comfortable too.
Looks so great on you!!! For anyone interested – we have them in our store 🙂
Thank you! We might buy a t-shirt for Dad, but don’t tell him!
Great ;prizes! I love the KONG treats and Momz thinks that t-shirt is really kewl
It seems like the Moms like the clothes….but we dogs know what’s really important!
Mom loves the t-shirt!!! I am sure you liked the Kong treats. I got my first ones ever when mom brought some home from Blogpaws. Congratulations!
Thanks, Emma! We hope Mom is going to get us some more of those treats….but she doles them out slowly, so we’re still on that first bag (she breaks them in half sometimes, for crying out loud!). Glad you got to try some too!
