You might remember that last month Luke generously shared his Pet Treater subscription box with his sister Sheba. Our sweet boy wanted to share his box with his sister Cricket this month, in early celebration of her 12th birthday on Thursday!

He even put a bow and a card on the box for her, and then let her at it. There were a lot of goodies in there as usual, but it didn’t take Cricket long to figure out what her favorite item was going to be (go figure, the beagle chose the bag of treats). Actually, we were kind of surprised that Cricket didn’t go for the ball toy in there, since she’s usually all about the balls too!

I wasn’t fast enough with the camera to catch her actually carrying the bag of treats that she pulled out of there….it was so cute. The Market Cuts Chicken & Sweet Potato Wraps from Dingo are made in the USA with real chicken and sweet potatoes, and that makes the Momz happy.

After letting Cricket peruse through the box, Luke couldn’t help but grab a favorite toy for himself, this huge and fun grunting hedgehog from Petlou. Cricket will probably pay more attention to it once Luke and Sheba have started its destruction, which is only a matter of time (with close supervision so I can grab the parts that make the noise). These toys are supposed to be tough and hold up well, we’ll let you know if it does!
It’s all about the sharing around here, so even though Cricket didn’t grab the MultiPet rope and rubber ball, Sheba was happy to have it and immediately started chewing on it!

The theme for this month’s box was “Best in Show”, and my favorite thing was the Juicy Crittoure grooming gift box “For the Decadent Dog”. What a cute gift this would make! In fact, I think we’ll be saving that for just that use (or maybe a giveaway!), since none of the crew here really falls into the “show dog” category. The girls are more tomboys, and they’re happy to pass along a box that has grooming products in it!

Also included for the traveling show dog is a fold-away pet bowl, a cute bow tie for dress up, and a Chicky Twizzees all natural chew for those times of waiting in between competitions!

As always, Pet Treater doesn’t forget the Momz, and I got Barron’s Mini Encyclopedia of Dog Health. With two senior girls in the house, that will definitely come in handy! September’s box theme is going to be “Ain’t Nothing but a Hound Dog” – we can’t wait to see what that brings! Luke might have to share that one with his beagle sister again though, and Luke has some hound dog in him as well so it should be fun for them!

Well Happy Birthday to you! Looks like you scored BIG! The birthday card in the first photo looks a lot like you too! That grooming kit is adorable. The Boys could use one of those since their always getting groomed.
Whoa what a great box!
That looks like a fun box. Cricket knew what she wanted lol.
Now I would have put my money on the ball. 🙂 Go figure.
That should have been a safe bet! But the girl is pretty picky about balls too. 🙂
Wow, there’s a lot of fun stuff in that box! Happy birthday, Crickett!!! She’s so darn cute! Makes me miss our angel beagle!
Thank you!! There’s just something so cute about beagles, isn’t there (especially our own)? 🙂
Wow! That looks like an awesome pet box!! They look like they are really enjoying it!
They’ve been pretty happy with this box for a few months now!
Wanted to wish Cricket a Happy Birthday a little early then, in case I should certainly forget later! Love the Hedgehog!
Thank you, Auntie Lynn!
Happy 12th birthday Cricket! I think I’ll try the one time box for this subscription – there are so many cool products – I currently get BarkBox and would like to try something new!
We’ve gotten some other boxes in the past, but usually get bored with them after a while. This one has been really delivering for a few months now!
Oh, and thank you for the birthday wishes! ♥
OMD! You received such cool products. I love your hedgehog and your grooming kit. ♥ Happy early birthday.
Oh my gosh! That hedgehog! I’m not sure how we got started on a hedgehog obsession here, but Barley loves her hedgies–she’s never had one that big before. We’re a little jealous 😉
There’s something about those hedgehogs. We had a couple others but they were a lot smaller too (and didn’t live too long – LOL).
You hit the jackpot!!
Lily & Edward
OOOh. I want the hedgehog … and I’m a cat 🙂 ~Bear Cat
He’s probably as big as you are Bear Cat!! He definitely seems to be the favorite though.
How sweet to share. Happy Birthday!
Thank you!! ♥
What a fun box of goodies! That hedgehog looks like a lot of fun.
Aw, Luke, you’re such a sweet little brother! Ducky is a little better about sharing toys with Shadow, but I still have to watch her closely just in case. Callie would have loved the hedgehog. And would have been very gentle with it.
Happy Early Birthday, Cricket!
Thank you! So far Luke is being very nice to Mr. Hedgehog, but Sheba is a little rougher (he’s still in one piece so far though)! It’s kind of funny that our big gentle girl can be such a tiger sometimes! LOL
I love this fabulous best in show set… but as a dog I say, the hedgehog is the best… the pawfect toy to make some snow in that summer heat :o)
I wanted a festival or a manor in oxford this year… the staff sighed, checked their wallets and I will get a festival on furryday :o)
We’re trying to avoid the snowstorm in the summer thing…but we’ll see how long that goes on for (Mr. Hedgehog has at least now made it into Sept. in one piece).
Can’t wait to hear all about your festival!
