If you stopped by on Wednesday, you saw Luke enjoying a bit of a laugh at my expense.
What was so funny, Luke?

“Well, the Momz believed that silly groundhog, and really thought we were going to have an early spring! Not only did it snow on the first day of spring, it snowed again a few days later and this time we got quite a few inches! What were you thinking, Momz?? Trusting that rodent?”

However, in the end I wasn’t all wrong. You might notice in the photos that Luke is not wearing his coat. So there may have been a lot of fresh snow on the ground, but our temperatures have been much better lately than they had been!
I really enjoyed that walk in the snow that morning, because it was so beautiful and so comfortable out! We’ve been above freezing every day so the snow has been melting fairly quickly.

So….I think….maybe spring is really here now? It’s almost April, after all! But, no, Luke, I won’t hold my breath just yet. ๐

Swimmy pool!!!?? We can only dream about that here right now!! We’d take the 70’s at least! ๐
I really need to consider moving South … the older I get, the more I hate winter!
You sound like a lot of my family and friends! ๐
We’ve had a few hit-and-run snows here, too. They melt off the next day and the sun comes out! Typical spring!
That is the one good thing about it, at least it doesn’t last long!
We agree, groundhogs are never to be trusted. We received a small snowstorm yesterday after a big one last week but are looking forward to the upcoming week of beautiful spring days. Have a wonderful weekend.
We got a break, but still, we had about three snow storms (albeit small ones) in the last week!
Luke you silly boy. You can have the snow.
We had some snow too, but not that much.
That snow is pretty…for about a minute! We hope it melts soon.
It’s a good sign how much warmer the sun is…as soon as it comes out, that white magically disappears! ๐
Dang! We had record temps in the high 80s today. I wondered were Old Man Winter went, now we know!
I’m happy to send him back your way. ๐
TeeHeeHee…Mother Nature sure has a good sense of humor, doesn’t she Luke?!!

Momz doesn’t think she’s so funny though. ๐

Luke
Oh my, that’s a lot of snow. Weird weather for sure. I’ll be glad when the rain goes away and spring returns. It’s cold.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Lovies and smooches to Luke. โฅ
Rain, snow, rain snow….then cold too. It’s hard to keep track of around here too!
Good grief! That is stunningly beautiful. Meanwhile, in Texas, we are flirting with temperatures in the 90’s. We did decide it was too nice not to ride our bikes during our “Stay at Home” orders. We are riding in the neighborhood so we can stay 6ft away from others. Our normal trail is busy with walkers and we don’t want to dodge them. LOL!
I’m so glad you got out on your bikes!!!
Sadly, the rodent predicted right for us, Luke. We’ve been waiting for a decent snowfall all winter and it never came.
There was a time many storms stayed further south and hit you instead of us. But not so much this year!
We have gotten snow a couple times lately too, but just about 2″ and it is so warm it melts in the morning. A really big snowstorm would be wonderful, but this year is not a good winter year, and actually this year is quite a lousy year as it is turning out. 2020 will be one to forget I think.
We think you are right.
hahaha! our mama too… she came out in a t-shirt today… and bam! jack frost came over night LOL
They always get ahead of themselves, don’t they? Mamas are eternal optimists. BOL
