Well, even that might be stretching it! π

However, the guinea hens’ feathers are beautiful, and they are also fun and entertaining. We’ll be filling you in soon on their antics now that they’re spending some time outdoors!
Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday blog hop. Please visit other blogs through the links below.
I think it looks like a little turkey.
Darn, I’m allergic to turkeys, but I remember how tasty they are! Since I can no longer eat them, maybe Mr. Turkey would be my furr-iend? Mew Mew!
This is not a turkey, Valentine, it’s a Guinea, so you might not be allergic!! But we’re not going to let you try ours. π
I love their heads the most!!! I think two of my little ones will grow up to look like that one.
As they continue to grow, their heads keep changing, and looking more and more odd! LOL. It’s fun to see the changes!
We bet those hens are loads of entertainment!
They sure are!!
We think you are pretty darn cute!
Thank you, Brian! They appreciate the vote of confidence. π
Awww. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder π
So true! Plus personality is more important anyway, and they are full of that!
I don’t think he’s ugly – but boy did he grow fast!
I guess they did, but it seemed slow to us, because we needed them to get bigger so we could integrate them with the chickens, and then safely let them out to free range. We got there!
Your feathers make up for your slightly bald head. Will you grow feathers there or not?
No, the odd thing is that they had feathers on their heads when they were smaller, and then they lost them! They’ll be bald like turkeys.
That phrase doesn’t stretch it at all. You have beautiful feathers and everything beautiful in their own way. Joined your blog hop.
You are so sweet, thank you, Crystal!
Beautiful feathers! I’d love to hear what sounds they make!
We’ll be sharing some video so you can experience that. They range from pretty little songs, to loud, ear-piercing squawks!
“Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” is what my Mom used to say when I was a little girl. I think “Poindexter” fits him perfectly! π
Yes, I think Pamela nailed it with that one! Though we don’t know yet if this one is male or female, though we do suspect male.
Their personalities definitely make them beautiful to me!
Hee hee, looks like this guy is a real head banger. π
LOL!!!
He’s not ugly in my book. I think he’s sweet, and I love Pamela’s name for him – Poindexter!
He really is sweet, and that does make him beautiful!
Why do I want to call him Poindexter? Maybe it’s those feathers on the top of the head?
Urban dictionary definition of “Poindexter”: “one who looks and acts like a nerd but does not posses the super-natural intelligence of a nerd.”
That might define these birds exactly! π
Why is it that some birds have the ugliest heads but the prettiest bodies? Hmmm…
Was God just messing with us when he created them? π
you are not ugly, you look funny… I love you and your sisters and brothers… maybe your mom can make a video when you have your first concert?
We will definitely be sharing some videos, and they have quite a variety of songs in their act! π
