Often overheard around our house: “That cat (or dog) is not right (in the head)”! It is said lovingly and jokingly of course. Here are the latest antics of Conrad that had us saying that:

These plates were put down for the dogs to lick. Conrad, a cat who used to be afraid of anyone and everyone except for my hubby and me, now pushes the dogs out of the way to get in on everything. Lately he puts his head right in Luke’s dish when he is eating his supper! Luke is so good about it, but I’m pretty sure it’s more because the dogs are afraid of Conrad, who is at least 16 years old and seems extremely fragile. It might just be an act. 🙂

The craziness around here is not only with Conrad. Come back tomorrow to see what it is that has us shaking our head at one of the dogs!
What about your pets? Do they do all kinds of crazy things that have you shaking your head?
We are joining Ruckus the Eskie for his Sepia Saturday blog hop today. The only rules for this hop are that it be sepia related (pet or non-pet), and have fun! Grab the badge, link to the host, and join in the fun!
LOL Conrad wants to make sure no one else can get any.
And he’s not afraid to let them know he wants it!
Haha!!! Thats hilarious!!! We say that in our house every day!!!! All the time, at least one of our animals is doing something strange or unbelievable, that we can only watch and shake our heads at!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
At least you can say that to your animals without scarring them, you couldn’t say that to your kids when they do silly stuff! LOL (you probably still shake your heads at them at times though 🙂
Good boy conrad, you push those dogs out of the way. And yes my dogs do lots of things I shake my head at and we call that “their touched”. LOL
LOL….it’s just one of the ways our pets keep us entertained, with their craziness!
OMC! That IS funny!
I wish I had more photos of some of the other crazy stuff he does!
We use that phrase, too!
I’m glad it’s not just us! 🙂
My family thinks that Jedi’s “not right in the head” either. They refer to him as Kelso (from That 70’s Show) because he’s a pretty boy that does a lot of stupid things.
That’s funny! We should come up with a name for Conrad, other than “grumpy old man” which is what we usually call him!
I like to say that my cat, Miss Gitty raised four German Shepherds, two more cats, and a miniature Schnauzer. She was definitely the queen and each of them knew it. I loved her for it. ♥♥♥
The cats definitely rule the roost. Miss Gitty sounds like she kept everyone in line, and was a special lady!
Cats are bad news creatures. I have so much trouble with cat bro Bert. He tries to push us dogs around all the time. Katie always gives in to him, Bailie never does and I do at times. Give a cat an inch and it will take the entire house. You pups better get control of Conrad before you all are living on the street because he pushed you out!
Oh boy, Emma, we never thought of that. But it’s those claws that get us! Sometimes he sticks one in our nose, and that hurts! But thanks for the advice, we will try to stand up to him more, while keeping our distance from those claws.
