It was quite a busy weekend of cooking and cleaning to get ready for my family for Christmas dinner. With all the excitement of company coming, we’re all pretty pooped out and moving slowly this morning! We still need to get our house back in order, and of course there are Christmas gifts to be played with as well.
We’ll fill you in on how the crew made out for Christmas once we get ourselves rested back up and organized!
Was Santa good to the crew? Judging by these pre-Christmas photos, Luke might have been in trouble if Santa consulted with his sisters!

Did Luke come to regret his ball-hogging ways?

Do dogs ever regret ball hogging?
Jaxson really had a great Christmas, he was all over the place.
Would love to have had a ”white” Christmas, we’re all very jealous haha, anyway I wish you all the best for the coming year and let the next Christmas be a white one aswell!
Sharing can be difficult. But I have a suspicion there are plenty of toys….just not enough “favorite” toys?
You are correct, there are plenty – especially when it comes to balls. Since the “favorite” is usually the one that’s in someone else’s mouth, no, there are definitely never enough though! LOL
Cute photos. Glad you had a nice holiday.
Oh Luke! We can see you haven’t learned how to share yet. 😉
Enjoy your day of rest and week of vacation.
I’m hoping to get rested up today so we can be more productive for the rest of vacation!
Luke reminds me of Ducky, but then they are only about a year apart in age. Poor Shadow wants to play; but sometimes Ducky plays too rough for her.
We had a nice, quiet Christmas – just the four of us. Watched college basketball, MASH episodes, and a movie, and then more MASH before finally going to bed. This morning it was back to the old routine.
I can’t even tell you how often I have to tell Luke to be careful with his sisters! Actually though, he’s often good especially with Sheba. They were playing tug yesterday, and when he started pulling her across the floor, he let go and let her have the toy. ♥
Your Christmas sounds lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed having my family over, but I’ll also look forward to them taking their turns next holidays! Entertaining is tiring for all of us, including the dogs!
He might make you mad, but he IS funny!!!! 😉
The humans find him entertaining, even if his sisters don’t. 🙂
I hope your Christmas was awesome! We had a quiet day here with the boys. Santa Paws left lots of treats so they are very happy. ♥
It’s fun to entertain….but those quiet days are pretty awesome too. Luckily, in our family we all take turns hosting, so we’ll be able to do the quiet the next couple of Christmases!
One of the crew’s “uncles” brought over some homemade treats with him, so they were pretty happy about that too!
Share with your sisters, Luke! I bet they give you a run for your money though.
Ah, you see right through those sisters of his, don’t you? 🙂
We’re pooped too, I think Santa took our get up and go with him.
He sure took ours too! 🙂
Lots of celebration around the “Ranch’ so effurryone is moving s-l-o-w-l-y today. ????
Madison went to Christmas yesterday with the family and she is worn out today. We all slept in until 6:30 which is super late for us. Lots of nothing on the docket for today around here. The weather is awful, ice everywhere, so not much fun outside.
Sometimes a break can be good….we’ve been mostly lazy today, but the crew did get outside to play (and have been sleeping ever since). We’re expecting that nasty ice tomorrow, so wanted to be sure to enjoy our snow once more before it’s ruined. 🙁
I bet Santa smiled as he heard about Luke… he is a boy too (or he technically was one many moons ago) and he knows that boys will be always boys :o)
Good thing for Luke that Santa is a boy! 🙂
