Every month I look forward to receiving and reviewing our Pet Treater subscription box. Not only do I smile because of Luke’s unabashed glee when he sees the colorful box on the counter, but when we open it up to peek inside I always find myself grinning (and sometimes even squealing!). Normally I’ll wait until I’m ready to get the camera out for photos before I’ll let Luke dig in to see what’s inside.

This time I couldn’t wait. We were in a spell of bad weather and Luke was already showing signs of cabin fever before winter had even really arrived! The toy in November’s box was so delightful I just had to let him burn off some steam with it. Some of you might have seen him enjoying it on Instagram not too long ago.
The video below shows what fun he had with it, and you have to get the full effect of the noises this Grrigles Awesome Ape* toy makes. Um, I should say made. It did not take Luke long to get to the heart of it and make it go silent. That is possibly a good thing – judge for yourself after watching!

I wasn’t just smiling about this hilarious monkey toy though, I was smiling over the wonderful goody inside “for the human”, and others that were going to be enjoyed by me as well. I already have the picture frame on my office shelves where all my pet photos are, with a special photo of Sheba and her late brother Moses in it.

There is no shortage of things to hang around here either – the “I love my dog” wall hook will come in very handy for collars, leashes, Luke’s sweaters, or towels for drying off when they come inside. You name it, we’re hanging it up around here and can’t seem to have too many hooks.
There is always a nice assortment of treats in our box. Luke couldn’t wait to get his teeth into the turkey treat from Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations (to his dismay I made him share with his sisters). We’ve had the Market Cuts Chicken & Sweet Potato Wraps* before and they’re always a hit. The Puppy Scoops vanilla flavor ice cream mix* is sure to go over big as well. Who says you can’t have ice cream in the winter? The humans do, so the dogs sure can too! This treat is grain free, all natural, and Made in the USA!

This human is quite giddy over her special treat as well – a Milk Chocolate candy bar from Baron Chocolatier. It is sea salt caramel flavor and GMO free as well. Yum…..what more could I ask for?
Last but not least, the Petzip Goody Ball is going to be very useful for Luke’s continuing crate training. It is exactly what I needed in order to move on to our next step. We’ll have more on that next week!

What an adorable toy to eviscerate, I mean play with. 😉 What a cool treat box! Well done.
That monkey is hysterical. Looks like a fun box.
That’s some cool stuff you always score the best stuff Luke. Love Dolly
What a fun box!
Looks like Sheba is doing the supervising 🙂
She does like to keep a close eye on things! 🙂
We’ll go check it out
Lily & Edward
What a fun box of goodies! And we love all your picture frames. The mom has a lot of cat ones.. 🙂
OMD! I think I’d have gone out of my mind! ????
LOL….you should have edited the video, having to listen to that over and over and over…..that’s what convinced me I was pretty glad Luke went straight for the voice box!
My dog woke up when I played the video. She does the same thing as Luke. First the squeaker/noisemaker goes and then the face gets ripped off. ????
I’m actually surprised Mr. Monkey still has his face and even all of his limbs! He is slowly losing all of his stuffing, but they seem to be taking their time at it.
That’s how you know they really like a toy, they are slower to completely destroy it. ????
Looks like Christmas arrived early 🙂
Just about every day is Christmas around here….not that they’re spoiled or anything. 🙂
That Ape is too funny. I’m pretty sure Rye would have killed it, too. I love Cricket’s little tongue in that picture!
Wow! That is a great box of goodies. I love the hook and the frame. ♥
All 3 dogs were sleeping on the couch with me when I played the video. As soon as the monkey starting squealing, Susie and Jack immediately looked up and Susie went to the top of the stairs and started growling. I got the same candy bar, the dogs got maple bacon ice cream, we got an elephant that made some noise but not like your monkey. ????
Maple bacon ice cream….oh, the crew is jealous about that one! (I think I might be too….LOL).
Such a nice bunch of darn good goodies!
That is quite an assortment again! My mom loves the pretty box too! Enjoy!
