Yesterday in Part 1 the Momz shared some of her favorite things for Christmas shopping, and today the K9 and Feline Crews will do the same!

Samantha’s Favorites
Favorite Bed – If you’ve read many of our posts about Samantha you might be able to figure this out on our own. I don’t know how many photos you’ve seen of her where she is sitting, lying, or sleeping in her Scratch ‘n Massage Bed*. She likes to rub her face on the chin scratcher (see in right on photo) and sharpen her claws as well. There are several cardboard inserts in it, so I like that I can just pull one out when we need a fresh one.
Favorite Treats – Sam can be fussy about food and treats, but she just loves Greenies Dental Treats*. I think the catnip might be her favorite flavor but I believe she really loves them all. I like that they help keep her teeth healthier!
The K9 Crew’s Favorites
There are several things the crew all agrees on, and one of them is….
Favorite Toy – Every year we do this it’s the same. I should have stock in West Paw Design. Their balls are consistently the favorite. Right now it is the Zogoflex Air Boz* ball. Whether they need it or not, they get one in their stocking every Christmas, Cricket wouldn’t have it any other way. If we need one, it’s only because one has been misplaced. These balls rarely wear out. For the first time in probably years, I did notice some cracks in one this week. That is mostly because they are obsessively chewed on just as much as they are played fetch with.

A close second would be the Planet Dog Orbee-Tough* ball. Whether the “lump of coal” or the “snowball”, these balls are soft and chewable just like the West Paw. Luke did manage to destroy one of these, but it still had lasted for quite a while.

Favorite Treat Toy – We still love the Paw5 Rock ‘n Bowl*. Of all the treat toys and games I’ve tried with the crew, this seems to be the one the girls loved the most. It’s not only a great game, you can feed your dog their meals with it as well. We use it as a fun game right now. You can read our full review of this product by clicking here.
Favorite Subscription Box – You’re not reading our blog if you don’t know the answer to this one. Luke is having a blast being our spokesdog for the Pet Treater box. It just keeps on giving us fun month after month. You can read our review of the most recent box by clicking here, or search “pet treater” in our search box to see all of our reviews over the year.

Favorite Training Tool – If you do clicker training, you absolutely must have a Clik Stik*! It can be used simply as a clicker or the telescoping rod can make target and touch training so much easier. Luke just loves it when I get it out, and he instantly glues his nose right to it!
Favorite Treats – For every day treats, they all love the crunch of Wellness Well Bars*, and Fruitables Crunchy*. The Fruitables are smaller and we use those more for Cricket, especially when she’s not getting as much exercise. The Well Bars used to break in half easily, but they seemed to have changed them a bit and now they don’t. We received a gift of a bag of Nature’s Logic Beef Lung* a while back, and those quickly became a favorite for training. Some pieces are larger but can usually be broken easily.
There you have it – some ideas for your pets for Christmas! Be sure to also check out our recent posts about two more favorite products: Cricket’s new boots and Luke’s new crate.
Happy Shopping!
Those all seem to be some very pawsome gifts! ????
A bunch of great stuff!
Since there aren’t many treats that both girls can eat, I stick with the Sojo’s blueberry cobbler treats and the pill pockets that I wrap their meds in. (Even too big a piece of a pill pocket bothers Shadow’s reflux.)
I’ll have to check out the West Paw balls for Shadow and something for Ducky.
Oh, they love the Sojo’s treats too! Those are great for training. I haven’t had any for a while. Do you use the Greenies pill pockets or another brand? We use the Greenies for both Samantha and Sheba’s meds.
Ya know, I had to get up and look at the bag; but yes, they are the Greenies brand pill pockets. When I first started using them, they were the only brand the vet carried.
More great gift ideas, even for our kitty pals. 🙂
More great ideas for animal lovers.
That’s some cool stuff! We’re with Sam…we love the scratch and massage bed…though we don’t have one anymore…guess we scratched it just a little too much!
This one has been lasting pretty long, the only time I had to change the cardboard was when Sam upchucked a hairball in there! LOL
These all look terrific. We have the Planet Dog Orbee and the boys love it too.
Beds, toys and treats are all winners!
Cool stuff – Luke looks a lot like Jaxson chewing on that ball.
We are definitely going to have to look into those West Paw toys! We got a Kong ball that has some sort of crunchy inside instead of a squeaker that Rye thinks is awesome and it’s been holding up well, but knowing her track record, I’m sure we’ll need replacement balls sooner rather than later!
That’s the only thing missing in these balls – I wish they squeaked. That might hold Luke’s attention even longer. Though we had another type of squeaky ball, and it was pretty noisy until he finally killed the squeak! Crunching sounds better even – fun for them, but less obnoxious to the humans. 🙂
We tried a click stick in a class we took this summer. It is a great idea, and even though we don’t do the clicker thing it was useful.
Your babies are lucky to have so many cool toys! For some reason, Bear Cat abhors boxes (I have no idea why) … but maybe the open design of the massager will temp him …
What? A cat that doesn’t like boxes? That Bear has to be different, doesn’t he? I hope he at least likes bags. 🙂
I like the bowl!!! and greenies are the magic little sticks what 99% of our pets love :o)
