The Momz is letting me share about our recent mischief with you today. She was supposed to share a video with you on last Friday for our FitDog Friday/K9 Kamp post but she screwed up had technical difficulties! But all is fixed now (we hope) and I will tell you about the mischief.
In this first very short video you will see what Momz calls my “bossy snarl”. For some reason, she doesn’t think I need to tell off the other dogs when I get the ball! I disagree….they need to remember that I am the boss (especially the new guy, Luke). She also seems to think it’s funny that I do my bark/snarl when I have the ball in my mouth. Well, I can’t very well drop it, can I, then someone else will get it!?

The next video shows some of our other antics plus Luke’s mischief….he insists on trying to turn every game of Fetch or Hide and Seek into Keep Away! The Momz has gotten really slow about picking up the ball when I bring it to her. She says that Luke is getting faster and more agile, but I don’t know about that….I suppose she could be right.

Finally, the video from last Friday of our Hide and Seek game. Momz is responsible for the mischief here….she really hid the ball too well! If you watch carefully in the beginning you will see the hole in the snow to the left of the screen where the ball went….not exactly where we were looking at first. I guess Momz won that round, because we never did find it. Of course, she had to stumble down the hill to help us and then dig in the snow to turn it up for us! The joke was on her, I guess….hee hee!

I love watching all the waggy tails while they’re searching.
Sometimes I toss cookies into the snow and have Honey find them. She’s pretty good. But she did lose one to our last beagle foster pup.
Honey looked surprised to discover anyone could have a better nose than her.
The tails tell me how happy they are, and I love that.
I’ve never tried it with treats, but they all have very good noses and it would definitely be a toss up as to who would find it first (I’m afraid they’d fight over it).
Goldens do have good noses, but the beagles’ may be just a little better!
The mischief to me looked like Luke climbing all over everyone trying to find the ball. 🙂
Luke is not afraid to climb on top of anyone anytime!
LOL that last video is precious. Whenever our dogs’ tails quiver like Cricket’s tail they are usually on to something. 🙂
Thanks……Cricket does have a very expressive tail, and it’s almost always moving!
That is a LOT of snow! Lucas is jealous!! I love that hide-and-seek game, but that bossy snarl had me cracking up! So, so funny!
The snow is a little more compacted now, so we can walk on top of it mostly….that makes it easier!
I’m glad you enjoyed Cricket’s bossy snarl…she does have it perfected and makes us laugh every time too.
Hey Cricket,
I understand the being in charge thing! I like to be the boss too, I’m the boss of Mum (working on Dad), and when the Collies and Kasper came over I was the boss (though I did make a few concessions!), Cosmo’s more tricky, he just ignores me and takes my toys anyway, huh?
Glad you’re all having fun,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Hi Snoopy!
Thanks! Yeah, sometimes you just can’t boss everyone…we try to keep them all in their places but it doesn’t always work! Woof!
Love, Cricket
Loved watching all our videos. You guys are sure having loads of fun…and making sure that your mom gets some winter exercise too!
Thank you, we are so glad you enjoyed them! Momz has been slacking off with her exercise lately, so we need to get her out there moving more!
Great videos, looks like the gang has a nice big yard to run in. The snowballs are great!
I know, can you believe those?
We are very lucky to have a big yard to play in!
Cute videos! Cricket, your tail is wagging so fast, I thought your mom might have sped up the film! Fun fun fun!
Thanks!! I am a very happy dog, and my tail is always wagging at full speed!!
Love, Cricket
That looks like very fun snow to play in!
It’s actually the first really good snow we got this winter that has stayed around for a while!
Looks like great fun – love the barkysnarl…put that little whipper snapper in his place. His legs are a lot longer than yours so he has an easier time in the snow – he should pay some respect!
Yeah, no kidding, what is up with his legs being so long?? He’s taller than me already, so even more reason I need to keep him in his place!
Love, Cricket
Love the videos! So nice to see them all in action! And I see now what you mean by the snow balls on the fur to!!!
BTW I have to tell you…..that very first video, I had my volume up all the way because I didn’t know if there was talking or not, and then at the very end of the video theres a “bark” type thing, and it made me jump!! hahahahahha!
Startled me! Too funny!!!
((husky hugz))
frum love is being owned by a husky
LOL…..yeah, I can see where if you’re not expecting it, it might surprise you there! Glad we could wake you up!
I’m glad you enjoyed watching their snow antics!
Great snow fun. You have your yard pretty well trampled!
Yeah, it’s just about all pretty well packed down now! No more hide and seek until the next snowstorm!
