(Please excuse the dirty window!)
I keep telling Pumpkin Pied the guinea hen to stop teasing his brother. If you don’t know about Luke and his guinea hens, you can read more here: “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back“. He’s not allowed outside when they are in the yard, which we keep telling the birds is Luke’s yard. They have 17 acres of land to play on, but I think they enjoy being contrary. 🙂

hahahaha great capture!
they are not dumb birds! They know who rules the roost. LOL!
Just what we needed….more animals who want to rule. LOL!
That is funny.
One of these days … Luke will teach that bird a lesson! Contrary birds?!? It’s like having a yard full of cats 😉
“Yard full of cats”….hahaha….. I love that! Because it’s so true. 🙂
You mean windows don’t come with nose prints?
🙂
Poor Luke, being teased by birds! Hang in there, Luke. You’ll have your yard back soon.
We had a reprieve for one day when we got more snow and the birds didn’t want to venture over to the yard. That didn’t last long though….we’ve chased them out three times today! 🙂
Oh Luke, you have a fan club!
You are more right than you know about that. The birds are scared of me, but they are not scared of Luke!!
Oh boy, what a challenge that must be. I guess Harry did NOT tell Pumpkin Pied about HIS encounter with Luke. I bet that would have discouraged him.
As for the windows….I hadn’t noticed, but I did have to scroll back up to look. 🙂 We have nose smudges on our windows and if you ask me, cleaning them is a thankless task. LOL
Those boys just don’t talk, do they?
You are absolutely right about the windows….I don’t even know why I ever bother to clean them (and trust me, it doesn’t happen that often!).
Aw, poor Luke can’t even go out in his own yard because of a bird?? Maybe it’s time to rig a cover over his yard so those “mean” birdies can’t get in it and tease him. I’m on your side, Luke! So are Ducky and Shadow! 🤔😘😘😘
Luke appreciates your support! Unfortunately, our yard is way too big to put a cover over it. However, once the snow melts, we can at least get out our other door so Luke could get into his small pen if he needs too. Hopefully by then, the birds will have found somewhere else to hang out!
That’s hysterical! Pumpkin Pied definitely seems to have a mind of her own.
That’s for sure! You think your dogs don’t understand the word “no”? Try telling it to a bird! LOL
Most of our windows are a mess either from nose art on the inside, or the winter weather on the outside. That bird out there is truly not being nice. No wonder you like to chase those birds, Luke.
Thank you! They’re kind of asking for it, aren’t they?
Love, Luke
they are amazing aren’t they? I bet they even could learn some tricks if you have one or two of this guys….
don’t worry about the windows, they are perfectly clean and the nose prints are important….
btw: while phenny visited his buddy Calix, the mom there cleaned the glass doors to remove the nose prints… and we all had head collissions because none of us is familiar with such clean windows ;O))))
Hahaha, I love that!! Clean windows are definitely overrated. 🙂
